My thought: this was the Mavs' best shot of winning the series. Dallas is nowhere near the talent level of LAC and has only really been in this series due to LAC playing horrendously, it seems. Even then, this series is going seven games. I think the Clippers just ou-talent the Mavs, who look completely mentally done here. LAC was always going to win this series if they decided to show up.

It won't happen here. Clips will blow it out on Sunday. Clips will gain confidence and be fully engaged for the first game in Utah.

At some point I think we should at least acknowledge the possibility that the Clippers just aren't a very good playoff team.

Don't rule the Mavs out, it took Kawhi a payoff career high to take to game 7 and Not a spectacular game from Luka or anyone else from the Mavs.

I mean they haven’t done it yet. Dallas missed a ton of shots... the arena setup the clips have is bubble like... I think it benefits good shooting teams.
 
Luka needs to beat the crap out of Porzingis out back or the Mavs fans will. They really need him to step up big for game 7 and win. Then he can resort back to doing his crappy play against the Jazz. lol

Yeah, they're obviously supremely talented, I just mean their playoff production, last year and this one, has been well below their talent level.

It is inexplicable that their offense has been struggling this badly the past two games. And this is with them playing Kawhi and PG 43 minutes a night!
 
I don’t understand: (1) the fear of the Clippers; and (2) even if the Clippers were actually good, the fear of playing good teams.

Do we think the Jazz are a Championship-level team or not?

If we have the truth, it cannot be harmed. If we have not the truth, it ought to be harmed.

I want to play and beat the Clippers, because it better prepares us to win a Championship. And if we really aren’t there yet, I want the painful medicine to be taken so we make necessary changes in the offseason. Just getting to the WCF is not impressive if you didn’t have to beat anyone to get there.

That is one thing that concerns me. You're absolutely right that it could be just an extension of their playoff failures. But if that offense gets going, I don't want any part of it.
