Gay is great. Not sure where Pashall gets his minutes but I hope he gets some minutes.
I hope he does too. He is a great energy and hustle guy. I could see him coming in for matchups to just get under someone's skin. We have already seen him do that. I would be ok with that. He can be the enforcer we need sometimes.

or
I don't think Siakam is worth that much to be honest. He has struggled since his glory year. And the fan base is none too please with the guy. Not sure he would be worth losing pieces like Ingles/Clarkson/Bogey. Now if we could somehow do Bogey and filler (mix of Oni/Paschall/Forrest/whatever) then would be worth it. But we don't need another moderate- to high-usage $30mm player on this team, especially how inefficient he has been recently.

It doesn’t matter because Toronto doesn’t entertain either of those trades. They’d want young pieces and draft capital.

Siakam would be a huge get for us, but we don’t have what it takes so I don’t even entertain the fantasies. That **** from jom ain’t even in the universe of possibilities.

I’m curious if Pascal and Gay could play alongside each other if we had to go super small? I like Pascal’s athleticism and attitude.

Paschall's best offensive role is definitely as a C. If he was the roll man with a spread floor he would eat.

- Joe got mad, and then was good. How can we keep Joe angry?
- Rudy Gay was amazing and did so many great things besides shooting well. It doesn't look like he'll add any more athleticism to our team, but he seems to make up for it by playing smart. It looks like he's going to be taking away possessions from Clarkson, which is a good thing right now, but also Mike, which might not be great.

Someone is definitely going to have to take a hit to their usage. Ideally that would be Clarkson, but more likely to be be Conley if we're being honest. Wish JC would take some notes from Gay. Gay got a ton of shots up and almost all of them came within the flow of the offense.

TOR's awful defense helped with that, but that bench lineup is good enough to get a good shot every single time. There isn't a need for any no pass possessions or contested chucks early in the clock. The shots will come for JC if he stays patient.

Toronto is hoarding all of the players we need. We need some compromising photos of Ujiri.

I think Gay could excel there as well. Paschall is also good from the corners… he needs to not shoot above the break (unless he’s exploring the space). The problem is Whiteside has been so good. We need to give that some time to gel so maybe we can find some load management time for Gobert. In the playoffs you do what works and I don’t care about Hassan’s feelings.
