Yeah but even that should have been offered. I would think the Lakers would be on this one but maybe the opinion of the guy isn’t that high. If he doesn’t have offers and you can get him on a one plus one deal where the second year is a team option… that could be a good piece of business and planning. I don’t think Joe is on the team next year so there will be a chunk of minutes to fill and a low budget to do so.

Maybe that is part of the concern. What I mean is combine that with what has already been said about his incident in the bubble and that shows 2 things. He might do things that puts him at a higher risk to bring Covid to the team and he has already shown to be a risk on a Team that was in the playoffs and looking to make a Finals run and he still valued his own needs above the teams. Which for teams like the Jazz and teams that are being talked about that are playoff teams that would be concerning.

May be he got a few offers and thinking or waiting the landscape shift a little bit more with Covid? I think those are likelier than teams not considering him. I am pretty sure he will land somewhere. I would be happy if we got him.

Joe may not be with the team next year or he could be playing around 10 mins, Rudy Gay is also old. House would find minutes next year for sure but I don't think he would choose that over immediate minutes.

Well we are dumb I guess. I can basically guarantee House is a better player than the non guaranteed Miye Oni. When we have an injury to a wing that is when passing up on these types of dudes becomes a big problem. Meh.

NBA teams signed a boatload of players to 10 days this week because of players in Covid protocol including House, Joe Jesus and Juwan Morgan. When the regular players leave protocol someone will have to be cut and if the Jazz are out shopping they can sign the best of the bunch to become the new Shaq.

I had a dream he signed somewhere… but I was hopped up on NyQuil so I couldn’t figure out which team signed him. I’ll do better next time.

If Gary Payton II is so good why'd he get cut like 4 times the last 2 years? If Hassan is so good why'd he only get a vet minimum? The league misses at times.

This one isn't even some hipster pick... dude was playing 30 minutes at the wing for a very good playoff team. He hasn't played because they are in full rebuild and give the minutes to other guys. He had like a $4M deal so I can understand why you don't trade for him... but on a minimum its really a no-brainer. The fact he took a 10 day leads me to believe if you offer a minimum he is yours... he may even give you the second year option I wanted... but yeah let's ride out Oni's expiring deal and see if someday... maybe... he can be a poor man's version of House.

Welp, what do I know? Kinda surprised all it took was a 10-day contract. I was pretty sure he would get a minimum somewhere or at least a 2-way.

May be he really wanted to be in New York and declined other offers? That could be a possibility.

Maybe he just plans to rack up 10-day money before finally signing a minimum contract lmao. Maximize earnings
