Kenny the Jet complains about Stockton

Said that Stockton would get too close to you while you were trying to shoot, and not respect your personal space...
(like this is a bad thing?!)

Maybe he's referring to standing under you a la Bruce Bowen and try to throw you off you shot by thinking you'll come down on his foot.

...who cares what Kenny Smith thinks or says about Stockton....or any of these current NBA pukes have to say about him! Stockton holds 2 NBA records that will NEVER be broken....career steals and career assists! He put the Utah Jazz on the map with his play and that of Karl Malone, who were arguably the most productive duo statistically in NBA history! They were a complete joy to watch by basketball puriest....and as Van Excel once said about stopping their famed pick and roll......"yeah, you can stop it. Bring a baseball bat and kill one of them!"

Now Weber talking about how he told the coach before the game in his first Kings playoff game that he was going to lay out Stockton the first play of the game, and going on about how good it felt to do it. Yet, nobody talks about Weber being dirty.

you forgot to mention how much Weber respected Stock's toughness as his shoulder didnt even phase him!!

Except it was a forearm shiver, not a shoulder, and it did phase Stockton - it broke a rib or two and he wasn't the same the rest of the series. Maybe if he would have laid out somebody his own size then I'd feel differently about Webber.

I was a little upset that nobody on the Jazz retaliated against Webber in that series.
