Stockton holds 2 NBA records that will NEVER be broken....career steals and career assists! He put the Utah Jazz on the map with his play and that of Karl Malone, who were arguably the most productive duo statistically in NBA history! They were a complete joy to watch by basketball puriest....and as Van Excel once said about stopping their famed pick and roll......"yeah, you can stop it. Bring a baseball bat and kill one of them!"

Except it was a forearm shiver, not a shoulder, and it did phase Stockton - it broke a rib or two and he wasn't the same the rest of the series. Maybe if he would have laid out somebody his own size then I'd feel differently about Webber.
