They are surely going to try and eff around with more 10 days even though they have an open roster spot.... just friggin sign the guy. Also, either give the guy a two year minimum deal guaranteed or see if you can get a team option on that second year. Get some upside in the deal so that you quit screwing with the minimums.

We are risking showcasing him for another team to come in and swoop him up. His trade value declined because he had sex... I mean he let his team down by breaking rules too. He's in his prime and is a great value. Get it done. TIA.

The dude has been playing with heart and energy. He really wants a permanent home, you can tell. He is kind of what we need, a sparkplug that plays solid D and can hit an open shot. I hope they just sign him. He and Paschall on the floor together caused some real disruption with the Suns, and that is a good thing. Bringing him off the bench for a defensive punch can only help us. I don't think he is "the answer" but he is a damn sight better than Oni and we gave him a roster spot, so why not House?

We all like House. And so it's decided: JZ must sign him. League minimum would be around 2.2-2.3 million a season, I believe, for it's his 6th season.

How much when you consider the luxury tax? $11 million?

I think he’s solid and would love to keep him, but I understand the Jazz are in the luxury tax and if he’s not gonna put the Jazz over the top (which he’s not) than he’s not worth $10 million.

We only have to cover 1.7M on a minimum deal... and it would be prorated this year. Its a no brainer.

No... lol. The tax would be like 2-3M. We have to fill the 13th roster spot anyway. So either he needs a deal or they can convert Forrest into a regular deal. If they are making silly decisions based on a couple million I don't want to hear anything about being all in from any media types.

We continue to eff around. I don't think we lose him but there are 29 other teams. Also, give the guy a 1 year deal and a second year team option... do it effing now. Its exactly what the Lakers did with Stanley.

If he has another awesome game watch some team scoop him up.

Also, he is one of the only guys out there smiling and looking happy to be there.. its refreshing as hell. He looks like he actually enjoys basketball.

Join the Haus of House!!!!

This is where you lose me. We’re headed into the trade deadline and we need maximum flexibility-ability. We need that flexibility-ability in case we get the opportunity to land someone of House’s caliber. If that costs us a chance to sign House for the season, then so be it. There’s a lot more value in giving up assets for a guy like House rather than just signing House.

I just hope they've had that conversation with house and offered him a deal contingent on passing the trade deadline on 10-days. If they lose him for nothing it'll be a joke. He's been far more impactful than Joe, Royce, and recently even Bojan. To get that kind of production and attitude from a minimum dude happy to be here is rare. If we lose him for flexibility, unless it gets a true game-changer, then that's yet another fail from the FO that doesn't know how to build a championship team.

Tall, athletic, can move his feet, gives effort on both ends, yeah that's gonna be a problem. It might tempt Quin to abandon one of his regulars for a few minutes each game throwing his ultra locked universe into chaos.

I don’t know how the contract negotiations work behind the scenes, but couldn’t he hold out at this point? Seems like he could get signed by any number of teams at the minimum.

I think they likely have an understanding at this point but yeah… a team could have an injury and have a better role or give him a 2 year minimum or sign him with an exemption and give him more. Likely not a line of teams but if we aren’t careful we could eff this up.
