Predict the Rudy Gobert trade

A lot of people can’t differentiate their feelings and emotions from actual reality sometimes. So if someone doesn’t like Donovan they automatically don’t like you and it’s easier to bash on you to be a part of the cool posters club than not.
I don’t recognize your name, and I’m not around very often so my apologies if you’re an older poster…but anybody who knows me knows I don’t care about the “cool club” or whatever you want to call it. That rhetoric is just an easy way to deflect from ****** opinions and ****** arguments.

It's insane to trade one and not both. The offers will not improve by the amount of equity you lose by not fully tanking.
I find it somewhat ironic that much of the fanbase would understand and support a rebuild... guessing the majority would be pro-rebuild. It is also a very good financial move as you slide out of the tax... get your rev share and don't have to worry about adding expensive FA pieces. Would likely save Ryan 50M or so... gate would go down and you wouldn't get playoff revenue but the savings would still trump any added revenue by a lot.

By what metric is Iverson better than Mitchell I’m genuinely curious. Mitchell’s average year s**ts on Iverson’s MVP year.
HH made his same wrong points over and over. Hell, he made like 5 posts repeating his thoughts.

I made my points a couple times. Pretty clear.

But hey, I'm like the brick wall....

Sorry I'm not a Rudy fan and am a Don fan. Don't let it trigger you.

As a defensive player? In the 80’s Gobert would’ve gotten multiple 10+ block games. More specifically, I am saying Gobert is the best defensive player since Hakeem which is ~2 generations ago.

Nobody on earth would say Hakeem and Gobert are on the same level on both sides of the court. So I didn’t.
Best defensive big? Yes. Rudy is one of the top 10 defensive bigs all time. Wilt, Russell, Hakeem, and maybe a few others better.

"Best defensive player since Hakeem"? Hell no. He's not even top 5.

Wut???? GTFO. Your points were flat out wrong. I repeated posts illustrating how wrong they were and you came back with some BS definitions and terms you made up. Put me on ignore if you gonna keep disrespecting me.

I literally lolz'd you cuz you were so wrong.

I highly doubt that, he would get out muscled and bullied by the more gritty centers. Hakeem led his teams to Champions. Gobert can only dominate on one side of the ball, I still take Hakeem as the better defender

Hakeem maybe a top ten all time player
When Karl guarded Hakeem Karl could not stop him
When Hakeem guarded Karl Hakeem shut him down
And Karl was a great player
I wouldn't say Hakeem shut him down, but contained him to a certain extent

Those are definitions most people use. Tanking and rebuilding are different.

Tanking is trying to lose. Rebuilding is trading assets for a different future but trying to win.

Boston never tanked. GS did twice and SA did once. Tanking is extremely rare but extremely obvious.

That would make phenomenal tv.
Gutter Surfing With Snyder Tonight at 8pm on the Science Channel.

In this episode Snyder snaps on a greedy pimp and it costs the pimp everything, including all his best girls who are working for Quin full time now.

On the next episode of Gutter Surfing With Snyder can Quin teach his newly formed stable of girls how to play defense against aggressive Johns? One of Snyder's girls goes on the injured list after a customer crushes her pelvis.

Hakeem would own Gobert but Anyways back to the topic.... I like Toronto's rumours the most but the raptor fans would boo Gobert off the court when he does mad foolishness on the offensive end.

I think Rudy fits exceptionally well in Toronto. Van Vleet, Barnes and Siakim would be better than what we currently have. I don't think Rudy makes them contenders, but he makes them go up a notch.

OG and Trent Jr are exactly the type guys we need. Young, ambitious, wanting the touches, still loaded with potential, etc. Trade Conley for more defense and depth and we got something to build on. Maybe trade Bojan too.

Us Utah fans will love OG's heart and grit he sticks up for his teammates too. He almost slapped the **** out of Gobert before he shut down the league

Tanking is parting rebuilding… Boston tanked twice… it was obvious and not that rare.

You're wrong.

Boston taking a step back by trading two ancient All Stars isn't tanking. It's rebuilding. Boston letting Kyrie go wasn't tanking either if you were wondering. Boston trading IT because it was time to trade him wasn't tanking either. Moving Kemba wasn't tanking either.

GS sitting healthy players to make sure they lose so they get a pick is tanking.

Teams make decisions to move on from players knowing that they might take a temporary small step back so they can take a bigger step forward. That's exactly where we are with Rudy Gobert. That's called rebuilding not tanking.
