Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I don’t really agree. He averaged 8/8 in 17 minutes a game. He had 14 double-doubles in 65 games. Pretty ****ing good for the vet’s minimum if you ask me. Best backup big we’ve had maybe ever.
Perhaps but being too similar to Gobert with his range limitations really exploited us.

I can’t believe Bojan is worth 7, but if they swing that deal, I’ll forgive them for the new jerseys.

Bojan + #16 might be worth #7, imo. If the Jazz were taking back a pick in the mid-1st round via a Gobert trade, they could potentially package that pick with a player for Portland's pick.

So it's... Jazz trade Gobert to Atlanta for Capela, Collins and #16, then send Bojan into Portland's TPE along with #16 for #7.

That’s kind of wild to me. What does a better deal look like?

Neither Vuc nor Coby are worth trading for. You'd be doing the deal for Williams, #18 (Agbaji, Jovic, Liddell, Terry?) and a future late 1st. That's not a good enough return for Gobert, imo.

A deal with a top-10 lottery pick or multiple young players like Collins/Huerter, plus a mid-1st would be better.

Apparently we don't like Vuc

A deal with Chicago likely doesn’t happen without Vucevic. Salary has to match. Maybe they can get a third team involved.

2027 is so far away you literally have no idea if that’s a late first or not lol.

Chicago fans don’t even want to deal Williams in a deal for Gobert. He is the real prize and you get 18 plus an unprotected 1st in 2027. Coby isn’t that bad either I think he is a great buy low candidate especially if we hire someone like Bryant as HC.

Chicago is likely more willing to go all in with Gobert than Atlanta. We may be able to get all of that plus their 2029 1st on top if we played our cards right. That is a **** ton though so maybe not.

I wouldn't call a 20/10 stretch big and a younger Jordan Clarkson type player not worth trading for. Especially if the idea is to stay competitive.
