The Jazz just paid $10 million, losing Wes Matthews, 'gaining' Raja Bell, and LT ramifications for a 2nd round pick.
Well Kanter and Evans both played good last night and I wonder if that had anything to do with the trade.
I also wonder what the next Jazz move is going to be. It can't be Kirelenko, KOC and the Jazz coaches know they overpaid him and won't do so again.
It might be someone else........someone they could use that trade exception for.
Maybe Harris for someone? It's pretty clear Tinsley and Watson outplayed Harris at the point on both pre-season games.
I wonder if there's a starting point guard out there who is unhappy with his team and is worth a ton of money....
Evans is still in the 4 slot. Jefferson and Favors are essentially switched, and given Favors' foul issues, should probably be behind Millsap.
When Lopez went down, KOC saw an opportunity to move Memo and jumped on it.
This team would probably still have Deron. And possibly Pau Gasol with Chris Paul going to the Lakers.I blame Gail. seriously.
Damn, this team would be so much better with Wes.
Is it too soon to be sarcastic? Not by some posts I've read.
Memo was a second round pick, and the way the Jazz use second round picks, this could eventually be a great move.
Just think, when Deron leaves and that franchise is left in total ruin for who knows how many years, maybe this will be a high 2nd rounder. Is it too soon to be sarcastic? Not by some posts I've read.

Most idiotic post in at least a week (which is saying something for Jazzfanz.) Take this opportunity to realize you lashed out. Memo was a great player. Not one of the all time greats, obviously, but one of the best shooting big men to ever play the game for sure. I have no problem with the inevitable onslaught of arguments that dealing him was the right move, but don't disrespect the guy. He's way too legit to pretend he was something less than he was.
With DW, D-Steve, AK, Hump, and Okur, you could easily have a lineup in New Jersey made up of former Jazzmen.Looks like Deshawn Stevenson to New Jersey as well
Interesting.a sign and traded Wilson Chandler in March

I heard differently, and in context it sounded like 13 per based on the other radio guys reactions to it. (they both disagreed) And since AK is asking for at least 8-9 per year, 6 doesn't really make sense. I may be wrong, Locke can be confusing. (don't get me wrong, I really enjoy listening to him)Locke said a 13 million total contract. IE 6.5 a year.
And if I were D-Will I would walk the moment my contract is up if this is all New Jersey can come up with. With DW, D-Steve, AK, Hump, and Okur, you could easily have a lineup in New Jersey made up of former Jazzmen.
