That might’ve been the longest game in history. Seemed like refs were giving guys free throws every 10 seconds. Is zion the hardest player to officiate since Shaq?

Probably. Giannis is a tough one too but Zion is really hard to officiate. And guard. Vando did his best but didn't really have much of a chance. KO? lol. Kessler did great on him though which shows just how good he is at defending the paint. I still have no clue if Kessler can defend the perimeter or not cause he never does (he probably sucks at it but no way to know) but when it comes to defending the paint he might be the best in the league. We all watched rudy defend the paint for years and Im not seeing any drop off from kessler in that regard.
 
The comradery and rapport on this team is what I can’t get over!!! They all have each other’s backs and these were the lowdown castoffs thrown in with picks!

Funny thing is that Vando and Kessler have played zero minutes together this year because of a lack of shooting/spacing. But Gay can play with anyone and everyone due to his great shooting/spacing. Checks notes.......23% from three lol. (only 35% from the field)


Having said that i thought he had some good contributions tonight. Just never ever ever shoots the ball well. (tonight 1-3 for 2 points in 18 minutes)
The hope is that Simone takes all his minutes.
 
Our broadcast team doe… holy ****… times when they were confused and shouldn’t be…

Holly think Zion tripping on Lauris leg shouldn’t be a foul… he just tripped… on another players leg.

The screen foul on Kessler which was actually contact by Lauri to Grahams face… all three watched super slow replays and couldn’t figure out that it was Lauri… even though there was like 2 feet of space between kessler and Graham.

The review play on the rebound foul… kept using the phrase displaced and saying all kinds of **** that wasn’t right… saying it wouldn’t be overturned… fairly obvious it would be.

Just a full **** show by that group. They aren’t getting better… Ryan needs to stay home and watch a few games so he gets to experience it.

There were two critical possessions where Gay hijacked the offense for a horrible shot then KO subbed in and did the same thing. Gay had the rebound and some okayish defense… had some bad plays too.

I mean for gay that is pretty good lol. Usually he only does bad stuff. Tonight he had some nice assists, a nice rebound or two (along with a putback) and a block. A+ game for Rudy Gays standards lol.
He sucks bad and should never play.

I just don’t know how Boler has a job talking about basketball. He had some other word salad dumb **** he was saying tonight… it’s like he’s a guy pretending to play a doctor and he’s worried if he stops talking people will figure out he’s just the janitor.

Good questions.

Hard to compare Rudy v Kessler since Kessler plays with guys who attempt to defend. Imagine how long and devastating we would’ve been had Rudy played with Lauri? It’s kinda sad to think that the best defender Rudy ever played with when he was here was either Crowder or Jingles. I do love how long Kessler is. He’s got great hands and footwork too.

Zion is an interesting dude too. You’d think he’d be devastating in the post. Instead, he seems better when he gets the ball out on the perimeter, gets his wheels going, and bowling balls his way into the paint. It’s pretty unreal that they looked this good and they were playing arguably without their best player, Ingram.
