Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Was thinking today who could we snag for say the Net's draft pick. It is looking like it will be a mid-20s pick. I was wondering if grabbing a player that has shown some promise in the NBA would be better than adding another prospect. I understand it could be used to move up. Was just thinking. Here are some that I was thinking about

Patrick Williams - Been a disappointment more or less. If the bulls blow it up he might be worth taking a gamble. Not sure the Net's pick would get it done. Again just spitballing.
John Collins - IF they decide to lower their asking price. I am not sure what they would want.
Rui Hachimura - MAybe???
RJ Hampton - When given minutes he has looked good.
Theo Maledon - Would not give up a first for him but I like him
James Wiseman - I still think there is something there and with Kessler, we could gamble on him.
Moses Moody - Has been awful this year.
Kenrich Williams - Can never have enough wings
Cedi Osman - Not sure that the Cavs would give up on him but its something to think about
Ziaire Willaims - Hardly playing and they are in a win-now mode.
Jonathan Isaac - is oft injured, but he has some potential but not as much now that Banchero is a stud.

Again just quickly scanning rosters and would any of them be a better gamble than someone drafted in the 20s?

Serious question

Zhaire has been hurt most of the year. Patrick Williams will cost more and is likely the last guy they move if they are rebuilding. Just a couple notes.

Like I said spitballing. I didn't do any research so your feedback is appreciated.

Honestly, RJ Hampton is my preference on that quick list. When he got playing time he put up good numbers. Now the Jazz would have to move some of our other players because the backcourt is a little crowded.

On today's Locked on, Locke basically said he thinks the Jazz will make moves that have a 3-4 year thought process, not a 1 year. But he also said if you beat NOLA twice in a row then go on the road and then go on to beat Milwaukee/Cleveland on the road that could change things. Said if anything one is offering good first for the players we have (assuming he means the Beasley/Sexton/Conley/KO types) they would probably have to take it. Also seemed to imply we were stuck with Sexton because of the contract.
lol just had to throw that dig in on Sexton didn't you. You are going to eat crow for a decade once he gets the keys. When are you going to realize how outdated and perpetually wrong the national narrative is about the skillset of the Young Bull? Dude has already shown a strong committment to playing less iso ball, than he was gifted into, on his former team. He is not the low bbiq, score only guard, you & these clowns think he is, and you should know it. Why someone as obsessed with bb can't see it looks like stubborn ignorance

Report says Lakers are increasingly unlikely to trade Russ... If they wait for cap space next year to make their move and actually make a good one imma be so mad we gave them that space by taking THT for nothing.

Wild they gonna ride it out or make a smaller move with Bev/Nunn contracts. If they just put one pick in I don't really get it... the whole thing was you wanted a star now you only have one pick left to get a star. They just gonna kill a year of Lebron and AD I guess.
Prepare yourself for Bogey, Beverley and Crowder all being included in deals where their teams get picks back.

Not Bev... he has been hot garbage. Bogey I think is a 50/50 shot to stay. Unless they get a solid first I think they keep him. So if he does get moved there will be much hand wringing.

Honestly, even If Bogey lands a first to Detroit, i still may be more in peace with that trade than the Beverley one

When you say bogey are you speaking of our bogey that is in detroit or the dude with a similar name who I think is in Atlanta?

On the other hand, we all agree that draymond is a great playmaker....... and no one respects his shot. Vando shoots 1 three per game in 25 minutes and shoots 41% from three. Green takes 1.5 threes per game in 31 minutes per game and shoots 29% from three. Green has lots of great three point shooters on the court with him giving him space with the ball to drive and kick even though no one respects his shot. That is why i mentioned a lineup with Vando that has NAW, Beasley, Markkenan, and Olynyk. Lots of shooters. He might suck in that role but I would like to see it.

One other cool thing I saw from Vando a few games ago that I hadn't seen before was a play were he had the ball with his back to the basket way out close to the three point line. Everyone knew he wanted to get rid of the ball so the defense was denying the ball by covering all the other dudes. The guy guarding Vando was crowding him to make the pass more difficult. Vando used a very quick and explosive turn towards the hoop and first step and went straight the rim where the opponents center (might of been nurkic) had to come over and hack him.
That could be a new wrinkle for the offense. Have vando fake a handoff style pass and the defenders attention would go towards clarkson or whoever but instead have him keep it and go to the paint to score or kick out to a three point shooter (which he is getting quite good at as well.)
He definitely still has a lot of growth. A lot of people on this board are acting like he is a finished product when in reality the improvement he has made just from last year to this year is huge.

The Bulls are one of the most interesting teams to follow this year for potential trades imo.

They are 11-16 and are feeling like the sky is falling, and a lot of people are obviously telling them they should sell DeMar while he has value. But their pick is only top-4 protected and I really don't think they'll cut loose on their all-in move this quick with such meh odds of keeping their pick. They still have a near 0 net differential, implying they are better than their record a bit, and there can still be optimism that LaVine will start playing better.

If they go on like a 22-12 run, which is optimistic for sure, I could see them being open to taking on some talent at the deadline for players like Lonzo, Ayo, or even the Blazers lottery protected pick this year. I think the Bulls will dig-in if anything at this deadline if they are sitting a game or two over .500.

Is Mike for Vucevic something they’d consider? We’d probably have to find a new home for Olynyk as well

Yeah I don't see much interest in Vucevic for us, unless we get a trade that moves Olynyk for something as well. He is expiring, so if the Jazz see a target they want in FA then maybe (I doubt he isn't locked in somewhere, but maybe Kuzma or PJ Washington).

I personally would imagine that a competitive Bulls would value Conley. They were humming when Lonzo was playing point for them, and I think Conley could fulfill a lot of that role. They might be dissuaded by the concept of making an incremental trade making their fans even more angry, the Bulls FA is kind of in a lose-lose-lose situation.

I thought derozen would be a great fit on this Jazz roster if the Jazz want to push their playoff odd. The Bulls would have to decide to blow it up.
I cannot see how he is a fit. We catch and shoot threes to space the paint, run fast plays to paint from the outside using that spacing and dribble and iso way less than the average team.

DeRozan is a bad 3PT shooter and his biggest asset is dribble and shoot from midrange.
