Official Utah/Minnesota/Philadelphia Pick Watch

Minnesota is a contender here, actually.

Voldemort will **** you up for power and is fine with hurting himself in the process.
Look... Minny is likely staring at that NO game end of season thinking they can get in the upper tier of the play in.... but... they have sucked against ****** teams. And there is a chance SA doesn't really damage their draft status at all... because they could win against Porty tonight...

What are the chances this is Pop's last home game as a Spurs coach? What are the chances they say "eff it... we are gonna actually try for a night for Pop... it doesn't change our chances at Wemby". They stun Minny and the last game against NO is just a formality. Assume NO beats NY cuz their seeding is wrapped and they rest dudes.

Dallas is on the verge of missing the play-in AND missing out on the draft. Bulls are planning to rest players against Dallas tomorrow and could take the 10th draft slot.

So we're 9th. With iffy chance for top 4th.
Minny pick even if they finnish 17 at the end is a great value, they could easly be way beyond 20th.
We have also 76ers 28,27th. There were many good Players at the end of the first round at the past.

We should TANK better We re Lucky with Minny and have very good asset with 76ers pick.
I hope IT will be future changing draft 2023.

If Dallas tanks their way into the 10th pick of the draft, there's a good chance that they'll put the pick on the market. A team like the Jazz could capitalize. Get Taylor Hendricks, Cason Wallace and GG Jackson all in this year's lottery.

Who owns the tiebreaker between the Jazz and Mavs? If it's the Mavs then it doesn't really matter if the Jazz win the next two games, right?

Rather get Hendricks, Wallace and either Dick/Hawkins.

I just changed Dick to Wallace in this scenario. But you get the idea. Jazz could bring in three lottery picks all the same age. That's an excellent approach to team building. I'm not sure I'd take Hawkins in the lottery though, and I'm still a GG guy.

I get the feeling that Luka is the type that would totally go for 50 if they let him play. He would try to win to piss off the people telling him to call it a season.

The Mavs are in a bad spot. Even if they lose this one they might still win the last on accident. This will be especially catastrophic when the pick we own from the Woles lands top 4 and they lose the pick anyway.

Oh that’s right. We just need to lose one game and we’re locked into 9.

I was thinking we were already locked into 9th and could maybe just play some of our guys these last two games and not worry about tanking...but it looks like we need one more loss.

Yeah, technically if went 2-0 and Dallas went 0-2 we’d be tied for 9th. Coin flip would decide position and we would split ping pong balls evenly. Not an ideal position. Rather have the 20.3% chance of moving up into the top-4 all to ourselves.

Pacers play Detroit tonight and New York for the last game of the season. Knicks are locked into their seeding at 5. They will probably rest their guys. Shot that Indiana also finishes 2-0 and we can coin flip.

Orlando plays Brooklyn tonight, who are probably motivated to win to secure the last non-play in playoff spot. SO probably not much of a shot there.

There is a shot one of those two you mentioned goes 2-0. That would be sweet.
