Roster Building From Here - FA and Summer of 2023

Not sure why I’m tagged… pretty sure my stance is I know he’s good I would just hate watching him and I wouldn’t pay what they would likely ask… nothing about his run has changed that. He’s like Don… had some amazing games… had some cringy playoff runs.

You’re tagged for the mere fact you said you’d pass on trading for him.

Oh my bad… didn’t realize his home crowd chanted for him… I suppose they did not get the message that Austin Reaves is the mvp… he gets those chants constantly.

Look just cuz I don’t want to give up 4 firsts and whatever else Atlanta would want to watch Trae shoot 42/31 and lead us to first round exits doesnt mean I don’t know ball.

I think you’re a top-3 poster on the site and not 3rd. If I didn’t bust your balls every once in awhile nobody would.

Fine… but if you want to bust my balls you get to deal with @Hearsky s mom.

Ya and then lets say he is good at punishing guys in the post. Then teams hack a shaq him and he is a poor free throw shooter (that could change though for sure). Or you double him and who knows if he is a good enough passer to hurt that strategy. Or you put a long guy like morris on him and deny the post entry. Plus some 5 out lineups consist of a big who can shoot AND who can guard another big in the post. Its just getting harder to be an offensively limited big these days.

So what the Jazz need is another all-NBA 7 footer who can play inside out and drive a little too. If they had a guy like that, it would make it very hard, theoretically, to double Kessler, or to stick their best unicorn stud post defender/small ball specialist on him to nullify him.

Unfortunately, guys like that are near impossible to find and just aren't made available, so I am not sure where we get one. But if we DID have someone like that, theoretically, good luck "small-balling" the Jazz after they add a few more shooters with length.

All we need is the #1 pick in the upcoming draft, and problem solved!
