This is the way!The only way to make it worse is a surprise player goes top-8 and we have our choice of two awesome players only to pass on them both.

NSJ was an obvious oversight... he is below the furious level... like I will just be sad.
Does Danny have the same taste in prospects that Zion has in women... just ***.I also think NSJ is another very Danny Ainge prototype guard player.
It's not. Danny loves scoring guards who compete on defense. That's his thing.Does Danny have the same taste in prospects that Zion has in women... just ***.
The DA protype player is a myth.
this is one theme he has had... but he's also mr. wing and also wants more name brand guys from name brand organizations. He's drafted Rozier, Smart, and traded for IT and Kemba... but he's also drafted KO, James Young, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown (over Jamal Murray) and acquired Gordo, Marcus Morris, Crowder etc. It's not. I think he is very opportunistic so it will be BPA in both spots with position as a tie breaker at 16 maybe. IDK I just think you could label a ton of guys as Ainge guys cuz he's been doin it a while. It's why I'm pretty confident the Jazz arent going to take Wallace at 9 and why I think even Black is a question mark with his confidence issues as a scorer (though on Black it could be irrelevant due to his defense/athleticism he brings).
Not to say he will for sure think these are the BPA, maybe he goes with a big like Hendricks, but I think if it's between Wallace/Black and JHS/NSJ/Bufkin, he will select from the latter group.
I wonder where they are on Ousmane Dieng. They gave up a decent amount of draft capital to get him. The fact that they got him and Jalen Williams last draft would kind of pour some cold water on them being linked to Bilal. Not that it's impossible they are 100% in on him, but they seem to have bigger needs than another long wing.
I also dont think Keyonte or Hawkins are need either seeing as they have Joe.
The most obvious needs for them are more front court oriented power players, either big forwards w/ size or true bigs. I think you would be insane to try and compete in the west and not have bodies for Nikola Jokic. I think Lively still makes the most sense for them or they try to snag a James Nnaji at some point by trading back into the first. Also think Klintman would make a lot of sense if they dont care about a project. Or try and trade up to get either Hendricks or Walker. Or take Miller at 12.
But they might just go BPA and ignore need all together.
Not true at all. He showed a lot on defense at Arkansas despite being hobbled.this is one theme he has had... but he's also mr. wing and also wants more name brand guys from name brand organizations. He's just been around long enough he's drafted a lot of player types. I think Cam is as much a DA guy as anyone... but i also think he doesn't have A Type... he has many types... that's my point i guess.
Also NSJ is complete *** on defense... just hot garbage.

I wonder is those 3-5 shots per game from mid range turned into 3 point attempts or drives into the paint if those guys would no longer be elite scorers or if they still would be.Most of the elite mid-range scorers take anywhere from 3-5 shots from there per game. That includes guys like Kawhi, Paul, Beal, George, Fox, Mitchell, Luka, Middleton, Brunson, Klay, Bridges, Davis, Brown, Trae, Curry, Butler, Embiid, Giannis, etc.

Interesting mix of being the best defensive player and worst offensive player.
Can't remember who it was but one of the draft experts said he had the worst technique of any player he could remember... as far as where to be and how to position yourself etc. Said he tries but its real bad. Shrug. Not true at all. He showed a lot on defense at Arkansas despite being hobbled.
I have a group of about 7 guys I view as above the rest and hen a group of about 10 guys that I view all similarly.problem is I have at least 15 guys in my top 9.

They would no longer be. Elite scorer means you can get buckets from anywhere. If Jordan couldn't hit the midrange shot, The Shot never happens. The less options you have the more opponents can load up on what you do.I wonder is those 3-5 shots per game from mid range turned into 3 point attempts or drives into the paint if those guys would no longer be elite scorers or if they still would be.
Elite scorer means you score a lot and with decent or great efficiency. It does not matter how you get it.They would no longer be. Elite scorer means you can get buckets from anywhere. Walker would make a ton of sense for them. They see Ousmane as a long-term project, like Poku. The rumor is that OKC wants to package picks and trade up, but it's not clear who they're looking for. I wonder if it's Jarace Walker as a 4/5 to play with Jdub and Chet.
Getting podz at 28 would make me just as happy as cam falling to us at 9...
Ok, what elite scorers in today's game aren't threats in the midrange? Not necessarily high volume, but they are capable and willing to take midrange shots if they are given them?Elite scorer means you score a lot and with decent or great efficiency. It does not matter how you get it.
That said... for Cam to be elite 25+ ppg type of dude... he will need to score in the midrange. He doesn't need to be that though.
And the magic of numbers means that those shots (and eFG% of 51%) are worth more than elite mid-range shooting (between 45%-50%).He took a high volume amount of 3’s and shot 34.3%.
