2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I would absorb Robinson if 18 was attached if we were able to keep 28.

9/16/18/28 should be able to do some damage moving up.

We should have pilfered more stuff before he had his playoff renaissance.

yep. no guarantee any of them is better than bailey. his production, age and measurables stack up comparably with most of those guys.

I don’t know why he’s so far behind the others, especially after his strong close when he had more of the ball. He’s also a guy that wasn’t the main PG on his team, but I believe in his PG skills. He was really good at the combine in this role. He’ll never be a guy that carries an offense, but I think he’s a good connector who can make the simple plays. Like his defense and two way potential.

They should want Walker or Hendricks there. I honestly agree they should trade back to grab one of those guys and get whatever they can get in the process.

I think they should try to trade with ORL and get 6&11 somehow. I agree that the guys they need most are Walker/Hendricks. I’d throw Dick in there as well. This is especially true if they plan on having Harden.

Call washington... tell em they can have THT, 9, 28 for Monte Morris and 8. THT is perfect for a tank team so he opts in to avoid a pg logjam and ends up averaging the least efficient but most fun triple double over a season. Washington wins 20 games with THT and Ausar doing fun things. We get Morris and Black to run pg and take a leap forward.
That is terrible!

I disagree. Morris is a very stable vet pg that can help us for a year before we transition to our PGOTF. He's very boring but boring is good.

Nope. I would much rather have THT than Morris and I'm definitely not giving up 28 to move up one spot. The dislike of THT from some of you is mind boggling to me. The guy is a beast and will only get better.

THT is fun but Morris provides an incredibly steady, reliable pg option. If you want to win a basketball game on any given night you pick Morris every time over THT imo.

They used his value to trade for something they needed more... he's a good player at a good price. Perfect stopgap pg.
He's a mediocre player that I would rather not have. Why not just continue rolling with Dunn/Sexton/THT (and whoever you may draft)? The Jazz have no need for a stop-gap when they already have players who can play the position well enough and have more upside.
