2023 Trade Rumors and Gossip Involving the Jazz

So what is this referring to? I went to the twitter thing and every single comment was "we all saw that coming, wink wink, nudge nudge" and distinctly comes across as if no one really know but they are all pretending to know like some jr high school kid that didn't get the joke laughing along with the cool kids. What is his issue off the court now? Some of the comments vaguely reference porn, others say that their female assistant coach was fired because they were sleeping together (again, very very vaguely insinuated in the comments). What exactly are his off court issues?

I think the story is that he got a baby momma pregnant, while also getting called out by a porn actress on social media for having an affair with her too.

Ok thanks.

So essentially nothing. Sounds like a boring twitter day.

Read that the Blazers want to move Nurkic and get a defensive center that can help protect Lillard. Hello, Walker + Sexton for Nurkic...maybe we do get the three. What defensive center is better than Walker? Maybe we get Cam or Miller?
I am pretty certain nobody outside of Utah realizes just how good he is, other than understanding he was slept on big time.
No chance that offer gets us 3, I mean Sexton hasn't even played much in 2 seasons. He has no trade value until he does.

Alright, tank properly this time
If we draft a project like Black at 9 or one of the Twins in a trade up , with the intention of throwing them into the starting point guard role, and not bring them along slow, we will have no problem tanking.
I think we won't however do that, and the point guard if we draft one comes at 16 and gets plenty of back up usage in his first season and thats it.
Whoever we draft at 9 will be a plug in NBA ready prospect with elite upside, or a very hard to get archetype that spends the season watching vets

I didn't quite understand it... but basically once they do get control of a first round pick in 8 years... it will be the last pick of the draft... and then if they continue to roll forward each year over the tax they add another year to the tab. The second apron was essentially supposed to be so punitive that it is a hard cap... Suns said YOLO and are going to end up eating dirt for a decade... banners fly forever so if they win one its worth it... but they maxed out the CC, refinanced the house, put a loc out on several internal organs, pawned their wedding rings.... etc.
Holy ****.

Any word on if there are any implications for other teams' picks they might own (which they will surely go hunting for in 2-3 years)?

Because those picks are frozen and there is a lag the picks can’t be traded without knowing beforehand that they will be an end of the draft pick.

Did you just say the Suns can't receive future 1sts in a trade?
No they can... but once you go over the second apron you can't trade a pick 5 years out... second year over the apron and your "frozen" pick will move to end of the first round.

Okay, what I'm asking is if, say, the Suns trade Devin Booker in a couple of years for some unprotected picks. Are those picks encumbered in any way if they've continued above the 2nd apron?

No... only their own picks.
