JHS has been injured since early October. Not much to talk about. Would be cool to see him in the G_league.

Dick just started for the Raptors. His stats are booty cheeks to the maximum, but he's at least getting on the court and looks the part.

I mean JHS was *** in preseason but it was real quiet around here. Even if we took him and he was healthy he'd be in the G League.

It was definitely odd when they came out and said that. Like you said, I've never seen that said in any sport either.

I think it was actually considered a 9 man draft, but if you wanted to call it a 8 man draft Hendricks was absolutely included in the 8. The 9th guy would have been Cam. Bilal was a late riser. Hendricks was getting a lot of buzz at 5 and 6 IIRC.

How do we know this is correct? It is certainly not corroborated by any actual evidence. The top 8 teams all picked in the top 8, no one wanted to move. If any team had wanted him at 5 or 6 then the Jazz should have been just fine saying they were one of those teams after the fact, but they did the exact opposite.

I'm not saying I'm right or you're wrong, but I do think my position is a bit stronger than then one without a single whiff of evidence.

Nothing about my distaste for Hendricks has to do with the stats he is or isnt getting.

Yes, as far as the media and public goes. Obviously we don’t know exactly what everyone’s boards were but Hendricks was getting serious looks at 5-7. A few days before the draft it sounded like Hendricks might go at 5. We were talking about maybe Ausar dropping.

But did he get drafted in the top 5? The only thing we know is what happened and Bilal was in the top 8 and Hendricks wasnt and there was an actual team who drafted at 9 who strongly implied "Yeah we wanted Bilal over the dude we got"

Yeah, I don’t know what that has to do with anything… nobody was talking about Bilal being a a part of the 8 or 9 man draft prior to that happening.

Sounds like a pretty typical draft smokescreen. We can use the actual results of what happened now as evidence.

We'll never know the full truth, but Occam's Razor is at play now.

You’re so weird. Nobody was talking about Bilal being in the top-8. A lot of the other pre-draft intel we got ended up being correct.
