Trade ideas

OKC won't move the good Williams when they have picks to substitute. That is part of the appeal to a Lauri deal for OKC is getting it done without including any of SGA, Williams, Chet.

Warriors are the easiest team to trade with if they decide they need to upgrade off Paul.

They should be using Paul to get some talent in. Clarkson makes sense as a bench scorer and his contract is manageable for them the next two seasons.

Jaylin Williams probably isnt a NBA player, I hope we arent seriously discussing trading for him.

KO's stats are actually kind of insane.

Almost 60-50-90.

He has to be a top target for teams willing to trade like 3-4 second rounders.

Ok, think this is a legit great trade for both sides.

Give the Warriors a lot of offense and overall depth. I think Clarkson would be a great fit and Olynyk could be a real problem in their offense.

Moody has been looking a lot better this year. I still believe in him as a future quality starter. He still isnt fully there though and he's not going to be a difference maker for the Warriors if they want to wing another ring under Steph.

*it also saves the Warriors like 800K so that probably amounts to some significant figure under their tax additions.

It would also free up minutes for Hendricks. You could route CP3 somewhere else or just waive him and let him go ring chasing.

It actually costs them money which is part of the reason they can't actually do the trade I believe (the JC thing will resolve in January).

I think its fair and I would do it. Would need to find a way to make the money smooth out.

Shams says Toronto is a little more willing to move Pascal and OG now... I'll believe it when I see it. We can let them shop those guys and the same teams that would be in on that would likely be highly interested in Lauri.

Shams also talked Bulls but nothing new... just that Caruso is untouchable basically.

Wait, how would it cost them money? Oh nvm, dumb brain.

Tre Jones is fine, but he's a career backup type guard. That's probably why the Spurs arent totally geeked to start him, because they dont want to invest those starting minutes into their backup and would rather be more experimental with higher upside projects while they tank.

I think in some ways it helps Victor to have more organization around him but this is a complete year of discovery so meh… why not. I don’t think the plan is to have Sochan as a og long term but this forces him into significant playmaking reps that help his development? Since Tre is mora a placeholder type. I think eventually they want to be more normal. I also think they want another high pick so if Sochan at pg helps them get it then great.
