It's not even about his lack of an elite first step – he doesn't have any "wiggle" either. To me Topic looks like a straight line guy without the necessary straight line speed. That's not great.

He isn't having an easy time getting to the basket even in the Adriatic League, which means that he's gonna have a horrible time in the NBA.

Topic can probably become a steady backup PG but any team picking him in the Top 5 is gonna be in for an expectation adjustment.

I will agree topic has a giraffe neck but even if it was a couple inches shorter he would still be 6'4" or 5". That would put him with average height to arm length.

His speed is elite. That is probably his best skill. He is also a good passer. I would like to see him shoot a little better and finish at the rim better.

He plays with a competitive edge and that is nice. Comes from a sport country in Serbia (i believe. To lazy to go look it up). Jury is still out on his defense but a big portion of that is effort and knowledge.

I think a backcourt of George and Topic would be decent. Not ideal but serviceable.

I had him top of top 10. Still a lot of basketball to be played.

If Topic isnt a bottom barrel defender a Keyonte/Topic backcourt would be potentially top 10 in the NBA.
 
I hope we can get some more of this version of Fillipowski. 4/7 from deep. 12 rebounds, 8 assist, and 3 blocks.

You know these are highlights of makes....

I wouldn't judge a guys defense off these kinds of videos. Ever since Buzelis has started playing the Ignite have held teams to lower points totals. He looks pretty good from what I've seen. Definitely in play for top 5
 
Risarcher kind of reminds of Otto Porter, a player a really really loved when he was healthy. Maybe not what you have in mind for a top 3 pick, but his contribution to those Wiz teams was underrated. Not sure Risarcher will be the same level of defender, but perhaps a more dynamic offensive player. After being down on him for his pedestrian physical tools and ghost performances, I'm very impressed with his development and production this season.

I thought Buzelis had a rep as a decent defender coming into the year... is that not a thing. I like him and with guys like him you have to project what they will be like when the body fill out.
