#1. I have lots of friends

I don't.

Ahh yes, the "brutally honest," or "real," or "people who like to tell it like it is." You sound like my sister. They think "being real" and "honest" is an excuse for having zero social etiquette and tact.
As apposed to those who say one thing, and doing another, people who are two faced this is the thing I hate the most. I've been burned and screwed over far to much by people like that.

You dont have to cheer Deron, but boooing him is classless. The guy may have had some attitude towards the end, but it may have been justified. Alot of his complaints I agree with. The team should have watched film. They should have changed to force baseline. The team should have been more agressive in trades. Jerry wasnt a perfect coach. Deron was just frustrated with the insanity of trying the same thing over and over. And I agree with him.

The guy gave us all a lot fun memories. And he was tough as nails. He chose to play through injuries that he could have just sat out. And he did that for the good of the team

Deron 100 percent deserves to hear an initial standing ovation for everything he gave this team.
Me booing Deron at a basketball game is me as a fan expressing my fandom, and my love for the jazz! What's classless is Deron getting payed to entertain jazz fans who pay to see him play, we sure as hell didn't pay to see Bell or Cj play, what does Deron do let's his bad attitude show on the court, which causes him to not perform at the level we as Jazz fans expect from a player of his magnitude.

If I'm classless for booing Deron fine I can live with it.

Wrong. You booing Deron is you being a douche. If you're expressing your, "fandom" you cheer for your team. You don't have to boo an individual to show your fandom but do what makes you happy.

If what you say is true and Deron wanted to stay the Jazz never would've been traded. I'm a fan of the Jazz not players. Once they leave they no longer register with me. Why in the hell do I have to cheer for them. I don't owe them anything. They are employees of a company I was a customer, nothing more nothing less. After the way Deron acted last year, I've lost all respect. Sloan gave Deron all the freedom and allowed Deron to be completely unleashed. Deron stoped giving a full effort, he checked out of Utah long before his *** was traded! If I have to be googgly eyed star struck lovey dovey over some former player that helped to run off a hall of fame coach, I'm glad I'm missing a chromosome or two. Why am I supposed to cheer Deron and memo?

Interesting...What's your thoughts on Stockton?

Why are people so obsessed with their "right to boo"?

Just because you can, doesnt mean you should. Take a step back from your "fandom" and realize its really just a game of basketball. Its really not all that important.

I know you dont want to hear this, but these basketball players are people to. And most of the time their personas on the court arent who they really are. They may show visible frustration and anger on the court but that doesnt make them a bad person. They are just in the heat of battle and they know they are under the microscope, so all their emotions are left on the court.

And just because they get paid a lot of money doesnt make it ok. Everybody deserves to be treated with some dignity unless they dont give the same. Save your booing for people who really deserve it. Such as the people who arent good people off the court. Deron never did anything off the court to be treated like scum.

I remember when Ron Artest rushed the stands and started knocking heads because some idiot fan decided to throw a beer on him. I had no problem with him doing that. Just because these guys are paid to entertain you doesnt mean they are your little pets or whatever.

Try treating other people with respect and maybe this world would be a better place.

Pure opinion. As is his stance. I wont boo them just for booing but if they make a great play that hurts the Jazz or something then yea I am booing.

There is a HUGE difference between throwing some boos their way and insulting them, throwing vulgarities at them or any kind of object. I do not mind the booing of Fisher but there people yelling cancer. Those fans should have been removed from the arena and an announcement made that no such acts will be tolerated. Zero tolerance.

I should clarify.

Booing is fine when you are booing the other team as a whole. Or a guy is at the free throw line and you are trying to distract him. Because that is all good and fun. And thats just home field advantage. But singling out a certain player and trying to make him feel like crap is B.S.

I am more in line with this. Give them a good intitial welcome but once the ball goes up things change. Don't get malicious but support your team. If memo throws a hard foul on favors I am booing. Gaines hits a dagger three and I am booing. Dwill shooting FTs and I am booing. I like all of them and wish them the best outside of actual game time agaisnt the Jazz.

If they feel like crap they won't play as good

That's the whole point I never said the rest of you should boo Deron, to me it would be weird to cheer for someone playing against the Jazz. Booing Deron doesn't make me a douche. Do you not remember Jordan back in the day getting booed before games and every time he touched the ball. Weather you like it or not Booing is an American past time.

Everything you read on Bleacher Report from a 16 year old kid who writes for his high school paper is 110%.

And I am sure Deron would appreciate an initial cheer for him. Its not going to be just a regular game for him. I believe he was hurt when he was traded. I think he liked it hear and really wanted to make it work. He didnt handle everything at the end the best, but its not the big of deal.

And to top it all off. Their is a slim chance he might want to come back. He does have a house here still, and we do have a lot of talent here for him to play with. A huge home coming welcome might warm his heart. Remember he isnt from here but he did live here. That makes him a utahn. Dont blow it. We could use him still

Who in the hell said anything about bleacher report? I hardly ever go to that site and when I do I take it as opinion pieces and that's it.

I wont bother looking up where I read it but you know dang well people in SLC got mean, nasty and personal with Fisher. I remember seeing fans on tv covering an eye at him. So blow smoke somewhere else.

Deron coming back will be like the time you got dumped by the hot girl and kept telling yourself you were better off. Then you run into the hot girl with a guy that's better than you and then reality kicks you right in the coin purse.

Thats a good way of putting it. Lol

Ya I realize its just dreaming. But lets say that hot girl sees you with an even hotter girl(Favors&co) then maybe she gets jealous and wants you back.

You said it. That's where that rumor came from to begin with.
