Following Potential 2025 Draftees

I'm trying to understand how Givony still has a job with how mediocre some of his takes are. To say Yang isn't a shotblocker at all when he is actually a really solid shotblocker averaging 2.2 a game with a bunch of games with 3 or more blocks makes no sense. When he played in U19 tournament over the summer he was a dominant shotblocker averaging 5 blocks a game.

Looks like NIL money is going to start pulling more highly ranked young European talent to college basketball the next handful of years

It feels like a good thing, but I haven't thought about all of it's consequences, I do like college basketball.

I'm mostly liking that we will get a more even playing field for evaluating draft talent. If the NCAA truly wants to become THE feeder league for the NBA then maybe they should start changing some of their rules to align with the NBA better.

NCAA never going to change unless they have to, which they don't if they are getting the players

Where's BYU's NIL money coming from? Ryan Smith?
Smith is a major contributor but they have money coming from a lot of people. BYU is going all in on basketball and it sucks as a Ute fan because I think they are building something really good. They already have an incredible atmosphere at their home games so add some serious talent and winning and that place could turn next level as a home court advantage.

Utes are getting out recruited by a program where you can't have premarital sex. Lmfao
Lets not act like they aren't having premarital sex. Also they have a diehard fan base and the atmosphere at their home games is up there with any school in the country. Add in deep NIL pockets and they are probably going to out recruit most of the Big 12 going forward.

Lmao excuses

Utah has an outside chance at Dybantsa, so there's that. He's playing at Utah Prep (I have no idea what that school is), so if he likes the area maybe he decides to stay for college.

I think Utah Prep is in Southern Utah of all places, near St. George. It's an odd place for a top recruit to end up.

Not sure that fancy ballhandling would translate but... nice to see some talent from my neck of the woods. 22pts(8/14 shooting), 6AST, 4rbs in 20 mins of play vs Team USA Select at Adidas Eurocamp which is being held in Italy right now. Seems like he might try his luck in college basketball next year.

Jayson Tatum has some sauce off the dribble, but otherwise Cooper Flagg looks like a better prospect than Tatum at Duke, virtually across the board. Not sure how deep Flagg's shooting range is, but Flagg should be a force in the league. Flagg just reads the game well and makes big plays on both ends of the floor.
