Vecenie reasoning on all the Jazz picks are that Ainge has expressed interest in length. So doesn't sound too informed outside of that
There is also significant expectation league-wide that Toronto could command a serious overnight offer for its No. 31 pick from a team looking to jump to the front of Thursday’s line and select its top remaining player. Essentially, no team in that range could offer players and their representation anything resembling a guarantee that they’d be standing pat.
Vecenie has Flip at 15 and KOC 31KOC having Ware at 9 and Vecenie having him 32 is hilarious. That’s a really wide range there.
But did he also play football?ALso, Jack Gohkle looks like he could be related to Matt Harpring.
I can kinda see that range… I think he goes in the 20s.Vecenie has Flip at 15 and KOC 31
KOC seems more reactionary. I think Vecenie is so deep in the weeds with his evaluations and more of a specialist so might have more conviction with his board earlier.Vecenie didnt really have anything that shocking.
He hasnt bumped up Salaun into the top 10 like some other national mocks. Has him at 12.
Filipowski at 15 is probably the highest I've seen him post-combine where a lot of people dropped him (which was always weird to me because I thought it was known he had short arms).
Walter at 22 is about the lowest I've seen IIRC.
Vecenie has AJ Johnson at 27 to the T'Wolves which just seems crazy to me. I think Vecenie is just filling in the back end of the first with guys he likes. I struggle to see the Wolves picking a 2 years away from being 2 years away guy, but what do I know. Just not an AJ Johnson fan at all.
No, but side note, Matt Harpring's actual son is playing TE for Georgia Tech next season. But did he also play football?
It would depend on the extent of the tear but for a young athlete I'd guess it's almost certain it'd be surgery. I don't have opinions on ACL tears and surgery but, in general, when you're talking about different orthopedic surgeries, there ends up being a selection bias where data is going to show better outcomes with surgery than conservative management, but that's because anyone who's healthy is going to be a candidate for surgery and younger vs. a bunch of older and sicker people who aren't as stable for surgery are obviously going to have "worse outcomes," so it's not a great control.@infection is a partial ACL tear a surgery or does it heal with rehab?
