2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Out of the pool of guys we'd be choosing from, I'd probably rank them like this:

Carter
Holland
Topic
Salaun
Dillingham

Devin Carter has been a big riser for me. There's a chance he can't shoot, which is troubling for a combo guard without much playmaking, but he does so many other things well.
My ranking of those:

Carter
Topic
Salaun
Holland
Dillingham

I wonder if the Jazz will show the direction the organization is going to take in the next couple of years.

Example:

If the Jazz draft developmental piece such as an injured topic or a young Salaun. Are they looking at tanking the next couple of seasons?
Will they consolidate picks for a more established player?
Will the draft be ready now for players such as Knecht or Carter? Win now

Honestly, I am ready to win but will understand looking to the future.

Draft a Carter and Schierman and then go and offer Ananouby a max by getting rid of Clarkson. Then go get Brogdon from Portland for a 1st. Take the offer I saw online for Collins to Sacramento for Huerter and Vezenkov

Just will be curious. Hell it just might be a combination of ready now and developmental pieces and then I will be even more confused.

I get the logic, but the Jazz will probably suck next season no matter who they draft. And even if Topic were healthy, he's 18.

Rockets expected to shop #3
Danny... see this! Go get it! Castle!
Dilly has not worked out for teams yet, could be a slide candidate. Blazers/Pistons won't draft him.
This seems like malpractice by his agents. Or... they are hiding him because they don't want to put him against the likes of... Devin Carter who might embarass him in a workout setting.

I think he's actually been injured which has delayed his process.

Dillingham, no. He was super productive at the NCAA level and that's more relevant.

Sarr...yeah it's a little sus. He played well in AUS but also few minutes.

For anyone wondering, here are the OTE numbers I found from proballers.com:

per40

Sarr: 16/10/3/2/2 - 53.4 TS

Dillingham: 21/5/8/3 - 47.4 TS

Salaun is the hardest guy to place for me. Looks amazing physically, but soooo poor around the basket. French people love him and think he has a dog mentality....but I think he plays kinda soft? Idk what to think of him. He kinda dropped off my radar when it was rumored he'd be going top 8 but I've got to look back into him.

Right now, he's like Kevin Knox with twice the caffeine. The question is how to project him developing. He's extremely young and raw.
