Give us 17, remove '27 protections and gives us the 2029. Shoot I would even let you top 2 protect it.

We don’t need all of that. If the intel is true at all, that’s exciting. #29 + #32 + Clarkson for #17 + matching salary sounds good to me. Around 17 is where it starts to feel like the draft starts dropping off a tier.

If they want him bad enough, maybe we only need to send one of those picks?

I bet the Kings get one of the Nets forwards.

Trade idea: John Collins to the Bulls for Lonzo Ball. I don't expect (or want) Ball to actually play for the Jazz, but it gets us off a year of JC and clears the way for Walker and Hendricks to grow.
The Bulls replace a relatively expensive player that doesn't play with another relatively expensive player that actually plays and puts up decent stats? I would think the Bulls would have to give up a pick to make something like that happen.

So why does Chicago do it? It doesn't save them money and they drafted Buzelis, a guy who plays the 4.

I think Utah would have to be the ones to put something in

My read is the Bulls are still in win now mode and JC is a contributor that will help. Maybe Buzelis plays the 3, maybe JC gives him the time for Buzelis to come along slowly.
