They need to make a ****ing decision and get this thing out of the news cycle, one way or the other. They have to engage in a media barrage/blitz to either affirm Biden as the candidate with full support of the Dems or replace his *** right ****ing now. But the longer they drag this out the better it is for the Republicans and the worse, ultimately, for the country.
They need to replace him.

This.

It’s ironic that Trump is skating to victory right now despite all of the baggage he has. Much more baggage than in 2016 and 2020. Yet thus far he’s had the easiest time campaigning due to Biden’s campaign blowing up on the platform and the Supreme Court shielding Trump from accountability. Biden needs to step down and we need to empower a candidate that can actually take the fight to Trump.

I think it's a testament to Biden voters and how they openly support his racism. That's really scary **** when someone says something is racist then openly supports it. People are smart and see this blatant double standard on hatred towards blacks. I mean to say something is racist then openly support that person after he was racist shows that racism is alive and well. I mean only the very far right radicals would call Trump racist and support him, like those who support openly racist Biden while openly admitting he's a racist. These ardent self-admitted racists want to talk baggage yet they support a person that is racist by their own standards. That's called racism and hypocrisy.

His extra baggage makes him more appealing to his cult. More ways for him to be the victim and more ways to play the martyr. If there is anything 5000 years of religion has taught us, it's that cults love their martyrs.

Agreed. But dragging their feet is way worse than just making a ****ing decision.
Agreed. I would still rather drag feet and replace than drag feet and stand pat. Or even not drag feet and stand pat.

I just don't want to continue with Joe Biden. Even if it takes a long time to replace him im still good with that.

I don't think his replacement needs time to campaign or money etc. I think the replacement just needs to not have the name trump or Biden to pull off a win.

Air Passengers Tell US: Flying Has Gotten Miserable

Air travel got more miserable last year, if the number of consumer complaints filed with the U.S. government is any measure.

The Transportation Department said Friday that it received nearly 97,000 complaints in 2023, up from about 86,000 the year before. The department said there were so many complaints that it took until July to sort through the filings and compile the figures.

That's the highest number of consumer complaints about airlines since 2020, when airlines were slow to give customers refunds after the coronavirus pandemic shut down air travel.

The increase in complaints came even as airlines canceled far fewer U.S. flights — 116,700, or 1.2% of the total, last year, compared with about 210,500, or 2.3%, in 2022, according to FlightAware data. However, delays remained stubbornly high last year, at around 21% of all flight

we need to empower a candidate that can actually take the fight to Trump.
The aspect about this I find so amusing is how it has exposed so many as having no principles, how so much of the noise has been nothing but hate for the other couched in terms to make it sounds like a principled argument.

“Our democracy, our democracy is in danger, he is a threat to democracy, they want to end democracy…” Blah, blah, blah.

Joe Biden has engaged with the democratic process to become the 2024 nominee and people have voted him into that position. The people have voted Biden into becoming the 2024 nominee. Ruth Bader Biden becoming the 2024 nominee has been democracy in action.

What do all of the “save democracy” crowd say now? It is “replace his *** right ****ing now” and “we need to empower a candidate that can actually take the fight to Trump”. The votes have already been cast. What happened to respecting democracy?

When and where was this Democratic primary election held? I definitely would have cast my vote for a non Joe Biden candidate had I known about this election. Just like I did the last two times (Bernie and Warren)

Who is Ruth Bader Biden?

Who is Ruth Bader Biden?
That is indeed the question we are all asking, isn't it? Was it a bad day? Have Biden's handlers been hiding severe age-related degradation. Who is Ruth Bader Biden?

I read some of the link you provided but it cut off (subscription needed maybe?)
Maybe you could try and explain in your own words who Ruth Bader Biden is or what that is supposed to mean.

it is a reference to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg who refused to leave her post when there a Democrat controlled Senate and White House who would have replaced her with someone of her same judicial philosophy. Instead she stayed on, died in office, and was replaced by Trump/McConnell with conservative Amy Coney Barrett. RBG valued keeping herself in the position of power even when doing so meant disaster for her ideology, and now the court has a 6-3 conservative majority because RBG didn't step down. Many see Biden doing the same thing RBG did, valuing his own spot of power above what would be best to further his political ideology.

Ah. Great metaphor and nickname then.
Thanks for the info. Good post

Almost no one wants trump to lose more than I do but if I had the choice between voting for someone who I think sucks but will almost certainly beat trump vs someone who I think is actually a good candidate who is a toss up to beat trump then I would pick the good candidate who is a toss up and just hope and pray that they can beat trump.

If the prize of trump losing is a crappy president then that sucks.

Would be great to have trump lose and at the same time have a good president.

March 5, 2024, at your local polling location (vote.utah.gov). If you didn’t know about this, you can largely attribute this to the powers that be that had no investment in letting you have a choice; the same powers you’re currently calling upon to install a new candidate, once again not of your choice.

On one hand, it’s a no brainer and I think they’re just waiting for the 4th of July weekend to be flushed out and they’ll announce a major ticket change at the start of this next week.

On the other hand, comments like this make me wonder if Biden actually just wants to do go down this way. He’s made a living from being the old stubborn never say die candidate. And it might bite us all in the *** now. This is loser talk:

Why do you do this? This is ridiculously partisan and dishonest. I get that you don’t like Democrats, but you don’t need to lie.

The reason why he didn’t know is because he lives in Utah and Biden is a Democrat. Democrats have zero influence in Utah. So unless you’re actively paying attention closely to Utah politics, you’d miss the caucus and primary. If Fish wasn’t registered as a Democrat, he wouldn’t have received anything, not even a ballot.

Lastly, Biden was an incumbent. Incumbents running for reelection typically aren’t primaried. I don’t remember you saying anything like this when Trump was running for reelection in 2020. Who primaried Obama in 2012? Anyone remember who primaried Bush in 2004? Clinton in 96?

Cmon doctor, let’s be honest and not just look to score tribal points.
