Without question you are the most racist active poster on these boards. Do you get that your little substitution does nothing to hide the word you want to use? It is a distinction without a difference. Be better DutchThriller.

‘Unusual’ cancers emerged after the pandemic. Doctors ask if covid is to blame.

It will probably be many years before the world has conclusive answers about whether the coronavirus is complicit in the surge of cancer cases, but Patel and other concerned scientists are calling on the U.S. government to make this question a priority knowing it could affect treatment and management of millions of cancer patients for decades to come.

“We are completely under-investigating this virus,” said Douglas C. Wallace, a University of Pennsylvania geneticist and evolutionary biologist. “The effects of repeatedly getting this throughout our lives is going to be much more significant than people are thinking.”

What? I’ve been assured many times on this website that Covid is merely a cold. And that vaccines and doctors are the real threat.

yep the excess deaths and aggressive cancers certainly need to be investigated as a matter of priority

Not related to Covid, per se, but certainly related to our nation’s growing desire to elevate stupidity….

“Pasteurisation, once a consensus issue, has become the latest frontier in America’s never-ending culture war.

Public health officials say that drinking the milk is dangerous, and could lead to a spike in potentially deadly bacterial and viral infections.

But market data suggests there has been at least a 20 per cent increase in demand for raw milk in the last year nationwide, and state politicians are facing demands to liberalise decades-old food safety laws.

This week, the latest bill to repeal an outright ban on raw milk hit the governor’s desk in Louisiana, after similar efforts in West Virginia, Iowa, Georgia and North Dakota.

Politicians were heard mooing in the state legislature as the bill passed“.

I think Trump should drink nothing but raw milk all the time, every day, to show everyone he isn't afraid to challenge the liberal agendas and keep the socialists from, uh, helping people and **** we just don't need! Drink the milk, Trump, drink it!

A study yesterday in the New England Journal of Medicine from long-COVID researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis shows the risk of long COVID has decreased over time, most likely due to the impact of vaccination.

"We had a hunch that things have changed during the pandemic after the initial couple years, which were brutal," said Ziyad Al-Aly, MD, senior author of the study, in an interview. "But a hunch is not data. This study now shows COVID is dynamic, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much vaccines made a dent in preventing long COVID."

In decomposition analyses, researchers found that 28.11% (95% CI, 25.57% to 30.50%) of the decrease in long COVID incidence was attributable to variant strain-related effects and that 71.89% (95% CI, 69.50% to 74.43%) was attributable to COVID-19 vaccines.

"The lion's share of the reduction is attributed to vaccination, with a 30% reduction to viral characteristics over time," said Al-Aly.

I got the covid shot 3 times (4 shots total because the first time you had to get it twice) and still feel quite good about the decision. Still have never had covid so far as I know and have simply been healthier than usual over the last 5 or so years.
I usually get sick in the winter a handful of times. Usually nothing major and I usually have a stuffy nose from the first time I get sick until spring. But honestly I haven't even been getting my usual winter ailments over the last few years.
Been nice. I get the flu vaccine every year as well.

Agreed and same. I may like trash for day, but better than being sick for a week. Too much to do.

I personally know a LOT of people who have tested positive for COVID in the last month after none for almost a year. Weird.
I think a new strain is on the move. We have had a spike at work as well. Currently have like 8 people out of 180 that are out with Covid. Not a huge percentage but at this location before June this year they had reported maybe 1 case per year for the last 2-3 years. Now we have 8 all at once.

Ya my daughter is doing an encanto play this week (today is the performance. Can't wait. Leaving work an hour early to go watch) and when I dropped her off the first day there was a notice of a bunch of kids testing positive for covid and recommending kids families to be careful

So ya, there must be a new strain or something going around

current Australian government Covid vaccination recommendations

18 and under Ineligible for Covid vaccination without severe risk factors.
