Lol that's almost as bad as Red posting a 100% fake propaganda piece about Trump being tired yesterday then ironically a few hours later Kamala only lasting 7 minutes in a rally. @Red

As far as polling. A month ago I figured Trump was dead in the water but I do think America sees she's a complete moron. She can't do anything without the assistance of a teleprompter or the media propagating and cutting up her interviews. The original excitement seems to turning into reality and most people who can think clearly see that she would be an absolute disaster.

...and to why the polls are accurate. The whole article could be summed up with: I watch the polls as my profession and you shouldn't watch the polls but instead read my editorializing of the highly accurate polls so that I can continue to have a profession of watching the polls.

You are right if you say it's lesser of two evils though.
Republicans could have won the election easily but they nominated the worst candidate of all time sadly.

It's getting late and I have to be up at 5 to get ready for work tomorrow so I have to go to bed soon and I want to put down my phone and spend time with my family but tomorrow I will tell you about my bachelor party in vegas. There is so much irony in that story regarding the Sandy Station one and my white privilege was on full display in Vegas.

I had another story tell but after last night I decided that telling about my personal life to posters like the ones last night is an extremely horrible idea and huge waste of my time.

I have said it before but will say it again, conversing with steak is ALWAYS a bad Idea. Regardless of the topic. My mistake.

Personally my life was so much better under Trump. Everything was easier. Now the average American is in astronomical debt while the rich are making record profits. Like crushing record profits. Meanwhile the average American can barely skate by. I see first hand the struggles of local businesses due to the last 4 years. I'd love to invite @fishonjazz to come to my hardware store and I could show him the astronomical price hikes in every single item in my big box store. I'd love to show him how electric water heaters were $350 under Trump and they are now $600. I'd love to show him the 20% increase in most lumbers. The 40% increase in basic paints where I now have to pay $10 more for colorant to color paints and my margin has shrunk despite charging FIFTY BUCKS for a gallon of paing. Copper has astronomically inflated. I bought my Toro snowblower for $799 5 years ago now the exact same basic model is $1299. Mowers are the same.. House hold appliances are up 10%(im using rough numbers). My deliver fees are higher as gas has been insane. Flooring has risen substantially. Hell, rolls of teflon tape for goodness sakes that have been .89 for decades are now .99. My snack section is insane... $2.50 for a snickers? Almost $5 for a redbull? $8 for a bag of jerkey that used to be $4? I'd also love to show him my client list where people have defaulted on their accounts and have been sadly turned in to creditors comparted to Trump. It's truly sad seeing these once thriving businesses where I seen clients every day now be gone. I'd love for him to talk to a few of my clients. I would genuinely love for him to come spend an hour with me and I could show him how astronomical prices have gotten in just 3 years... Sadly I just don't trust these dudes to not interfere with my livelihood. I mean... the guys fish hangs with here openly want me to kill myself.

Maybe if I find some time I can post some examples next week to show that I'm being 100% honest here. If it's that bad here, just think about grocery stores. Think about people who use companies that shop at my store and how prices are trickled to them. This is not good. Sure maybe my IRA is doing good(not compared to Trump as I lost a ******** under Biden the first 2.5 years) but do you think my clients who don't have a retirement give a **** about the stocks? They can barely buy a sheet of plywood right now.

I think if people were being honest, they would admit that things were easier under Trump. I even talked to my own GM, the big guy, a while ago and he said prices will skyrocket again if Kamala wins. Her plan to tax the rich is not going to hurt my owner one bit... Those massive taxes will be pushed onto the consumer. Do people really think these corporations are just going to eat all of those taxes? I mean, cmon... All of this talk about tariffs but wtf do you think a massive tax hike is? Very similar as far as the results. (I'm not directing this post directly at you but more @fish and the anti-Trumps)

As for inflation, it has sucked. It is challenge and not everyone can adapt to inflation. Some can, and some thrive, but there are causalities and that cannot be denied. The differences in the candidate's claimed proposals are solid motivations for choosing who you'd like to see lead the nation but your detractors are using your reactions to being trolled to discredit what you are saying. I wouldn't tell you how to go about your business, but I do think that if you'd stay away from the personal attacks even when you yourself have been personally attacked, what you have to say on these real issues would carry more weight.

And that’s the trouble. We can find polls that suit our hopes and dreams. The more I think of the cultural trends in America, I would suspect a Harris landslide is more likely. It won’t surprise me. Everything says Trump is about a dying past, and Harris about an optimistic future. Since the results are not in, there is naturally a chance we will have to learn a hard lesson in a very hard way-with Trump back in office. But, looking at American culture, the MAGA culture points to a diseased mind set among many Americans. It’s all doom and gloom, and dreams of a past that is gone forever.

And that still needs to be addressed. Sadly, as happens in history, many fell for a fascist loving egomaniacal demagogue. That’s where our present moment went awry, from the simple fact that, as history demonstrates again, and again, and again, far too many fail to recognize what is happening, while it is happening. It’s called failing to learn from history.

But, I don’t believe we are all doom and gloom, and the majority don’t feel that way at all. Our culture, by and large, is not looking backwards:

No they legitimately hate me. They do not have the wit to troll me. I think people mistake my blatant facetiousness as being wound up. I'm not the ones creating threads about them and wishing suicide and dearg. It's quite the opposite. I mean, they claim to ignore me but always respond.... Everytime. Me pointing out their blatant hypocrisy is not getting wound up. It's like me calling them Pro-Murder Cult, I'm literally mocking them calling Trump supporters cultist for years. These dudes can dish it but can't take it. Using their very own tactics and then they run to Jason. Then they put me on ignore. I honestly couldn't care less if they ignore me, but they always come running back......... Always.

Funny thing is, if I was a troll, I'm not(I feel I put a lot of effort into many of my post)I'd be a damn effective one. And you're right about the attacks but i can attack while also speaking my mind. The others can't. Is it childish on my part? Sure but literally everything I say has a meaning to it. My childishness is mocking them. IE the Pro Assassination Hezbollah Cult. It's not trolling it's mocking their absurdity. But enough me talk in this particular thread. They have already dedicated a thread about me they can talk about me to their hearts content.

This was Trump’s plan in the previous election, as part of his attempted coup. He ultimately failed, largely because Vice President Pence refused to go along with it.

In the upcoming election, if Republicans stall the vote count; instead of allowing the decision to revert to the House or (Republican) Supreme Court, President Biden, alongside Vice President Harris, could declare Harris the president, mirroring the Supreme Court’s decision in Bush v. Recently, the Supreme Court has expanded presidential immunity for official acts, effectively granting powers that could enable dictatorial authority—something Trump openly seeks. With this kind of immunity, the President Biden could weaponize the Department of Justice, further solidifying control."

Why would you think a landslide for Harris is more likely? What data that you’re looking at puts her in that position? Also what do you consider a landslide?

I can’t comment on this because I promised that I will not be negative with Kamala or say anything defensive of Trump. But my summary is that I don’t see either being doom and gloom or being optimistic.

I think many people are looking to the future and to have some of the good parts of the past return. I think many people would like traditional values to return. For example, being able to have 1 parent stay at home with children. I find this is not very common and most families need both incomes to survive; if they had a choice I’m betting most would like to have 1 parent stay at home.

I think many people are looking to the future and to have some of the good parts of the past return. I think many people would like traditional values to return. For example, being able to have 1 parent stay at home with children. I find this is not very common and most families need both incomes to survive; if they had a choice I’m betting most would like to have 1 parent stay at home.

Cant comment? When you posted that I responded that you should continue to criticize kamala, just maybe throw a trump criticism in there every once in a while (unprompted). Or dont. Just dont be surprised by how you are perceived if you only criticize one candidate.

I never criticized other people before. I just can’t stand 1 person and let it be known but it’s too much for some posters. So I’m just not going to comment.

The next time I’ll comment about the candidates will be election night.

Ok cool. You saying you "cant comment" isn't accurate though. You are making the choice not to on your own. No one is telling you not to.
