At first I was like, "YES!" and then I was like, "Crap!". See, I really wanted to watch Munoz knock the living face off of Sonnen, whom I've come to really not like over the last six months. On the other hand, I REALLY want to see Bispussy fight a real opponent, not some washed up has-been. This solves the latter, but I still feel bad for Mark. He would've destroyed Sonnen, and then would've pounded the black out of Bispussy's teeth. I feel bad for his training partner that torqued the sub a little too hard -- I bet he's beating himself up something fierce right now. Oh well.
I'm also willing to bet that the fight goes to a decision, and Bispussy will win a split decision; we all know how badly the UFC needs their UK Poster Boy to do well.

Sonnen looked flat but just enough to beat The Count (who was up to his antics grabbing shorts/cage and phantom eye gouges). Sonnen up to his WWE stuff afterwards it was hilarious. Prelims were better than main card but all good given the price.
So now Evans/Jones and Silva/Sonnen.

well the fight for me was tense.
I love Bisping he is underrated and I love Sonnen. normally i wouldn't know who to root for cus these 2 guys are my favorite fighters.but since the winner gets that punk wearing pink shirts and female earrings called Mrs silvia. I wanted Sonnen to win since i want to see Sonnen Vs Silvia II.
anyways the fight was tense for me.
but after round 1 finished i did not know who won that round. but there is where Bisping made his mistake, after round one during the break Sonnen was standing up straight while bisping was with his hand on his knees lunging over looking beat, ref going over to talk to him (see picture)
Immediatly after round 1 finished this is what happened
usually when a round is close and the judges arent sure who won, they look at the fighters to see which one is in better shape. and clearly during the break sonnen "looked" in better shape. so as a fighter after a close round you should look in better shape, sure sometimes it cant be helped eg bruises, cuts and or blood
The second round which should have gone to Bisping by a slight edge, but yet immediately after the round finishes he bends over touches his knees and again looks tired and beat.
the 3rd round Cleary went to Sonnen.
Immediatly after round 2 finished this is what happened
not saying the 30-27 judge was right. just saying I understand where he comes from and why he has it 30-27. this fight should have gone 28-29 by split decision.
Bisping has the uncanny ability to make his opponents look regular/avg. just go watch most of is old fights(recently miller looked like a amateur)
Bisping is a really good fighter, very underrated. if you look at most of his losses some of them are close or controversial (split)decisions. so bisping is even better then his record. I feel sorry for bisping that he lost. I think after he fights 1 more guy(maybe munoz, belfort or okami) he should get the title shot after sonnen-silvia II.
other than that i have to be honest dint pay attention to the rest of the card coasted through it cus i was way to hyped up for sonnen bisping.

Also i Dont know what the ufc prices for the USA are.
but for me they dropped considerably.
i'd had to pay 30 us dollar for jones/machida(didnt buy that one)
and 30 for brock overeem(did buy that one.
but in 2012 they dropped there prices considerably davis evans was 9.99
ufc 143 Diaz vs condit is even 6.99
ufc live sanchez ellenberger 6.99
ufc 144 also 6.99
thats an almost 75% price reduce.
this makes me even more pissed of at the nba. going in lockout then raise the prices.
DANA WHITE for NBA commissioner FIRE STERN, maybe if dana white becomes nba commisioner he will also be more lenient on fighting and fighting suspension. bring the good old hard nba back

we'll have to agree to disagree.Yeah maybe i'm biased towards because he is from this side from the pond, but on the other hand i dont like alistair. stefan strufe i like even though he is just a stepping stone his fights are exiting.
so prediction on what mrs silvia anderson will do now. if he retires i wont be sad. cus fighting once or twice a year as a champion aint gonna cuit it while other fighters are fighting 3+ times.
maybe silvia will come up with an excuse

he did get a controversial split decision against rashad evans before bisping moved down middleweight.
he beat matt hammil and akiyama.
but i dont know if they where top 10 at that time.
They weren't and never were/should have been. Both of them suck so horridly, Hoover wanted to patent their lips.
The fact is, Bisping is nothing more than a money making tool for the UFC, so it was arranged for him to win his fights. They tried the same thing with Hardy, but he's even worse than Bisping. Nobody is going to follow/cheer for a loser, and the UFC needed the UK market. Brilliant plan, but people who actually care about the sport can see the ********. They did the same thing with Lesner, but in a much weaker division, and it worked there too. Makes me sick.

Where the **** is Frank Mir in that opening sequence? Brock Lesner on their twice?! Marquardt? Give me shelter... Mir has been in more epic fights than the majority of that list and is a two-time champ. What more must he do? Gods damn this outrage!

I mostly have a bias against brazilian fighters. just because this BJJ scam. it's just stripped down/nerved judo/jui juitsu. without giving credit to judo. it adds nothing what judo and jui jutsu have.
taking away the glory from japan. Some people see me as a hypocrite for saying this since krav maga basically "stole" from any martial art known to man.
but anywho yeah i cannot like brazilian fighters. but I ghues in my eyes Jr Dos Santos seems okay.

I will agree with you about Brazilians. For the most part, I hate, hate, hate them. I have respect for a few, Big Nog for example and Machida, but the majority of them can eat the corn. Other than that, I really don't hate foreign fighters because they're foreign. I LOVE Fedor, for example, Shlemenko (Bellatore), Leonard Garcia, Torres, Diego Sanchez, most Canadian fighters, etc. My top three favorite fighters right now? It changes quite a bit, but...

Rich Franklin (the same way I feel about AK-47 -- I met him at a Best Buy (no kidding) and he was one of the nicest people I've come across)

did you see the new intro, it is nicely done from a tehcnical standpoint and effetcs. but I don't like it, the old one was kinda epic. loved the old one. my fiance always groans when she hears it cus she knows i am not to be disturbed the next 3 hours.

I hate to agree with Sister-Porker, but Silva is going to make an example out of Sonnen. I'm THIS close to wanting Silva to win, just so I don't have to listen or watch Cheal run his mouth ever again. Keep in mind, there is probably nobody (besides Brock Lesner) that I hate more in the UFC than Silva.
