What's new

Isaiah Collier is an actual NBA point guard

Most picks at that range in the draft don’t pan out. I’m still intrigued about colliers potential though given his previous projections from high school (#1 rating on some sites). Filipowski should have gone earlier as well so I’m hopeful they are both anomalies and put a NBA game together. Both still have holes but not impossible to fix. Given we are probably still a couple years away from even competing not a bad situation for them both to be in

Despite the fact that he screwed up what should’ve been a wide-open slam dunk on a breakaway, and air Bald a finger roll right at the hoop. He actually knows how to run a damn team something we haven’t seen since Mike Conley was here. It was refreshing to see a point guard. Any guard drive with the Solen tent to pass open a big kick out to a three-point shooter , And that backwards bounce pass on the drive was freaking insane. If he can just get a jumpshot, he could be pretty damn good in this league. Thoughts?
There are some classics in here, like those hairless finger rolls and the famous Solen tent, presumably from scandinavia. Gotta love it, baby!

He’s a rookie who just turned 20. So yeah, we can give him a little leeway to figure it out.
31/14 splits is a bit beyond the scope of giving someone leeway. He has no relevant NBA scoring skills. I dont see those numbers improving drastically this season.

But there is some scoring acumen in there. Mudiay eventually figured out how to be a passable scorer at he NBA level, but his defense was *** and he never figured out how to shoot 3's.

Still think it's a longshot, but at least there is some potential whereas Cody seems just flat out awful.

Some of Cody’s stats are bad enough regular everyday joe hoopers scratch their heads about their NBA possibilities. Cody seems like he’s throwing darts and hoping they just hit the board. He is young, good size, hopefully some untapped athleticism that will peel off…….if not….my goodness
