Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

Where are our very principled non-maga conservatives? Why aren’t they up in arms over this outrageous racism and cruelty? How is any of this conservative?

DEI hire by trump lol. She wasn't a DEI hire as long as she was going along with trump rule but once she went against his rule she was suddenly a DEI hire: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...1&cvid=bd8e9b793b364bb683bd99bec9a8495d&ei=82

Some of President Donald Trump’s loudest supporters have a new diversity, equity and inclusion target: Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

The reason?

Barrett and Chief Justice John Roberts this week sided with the court’s three liberal justices in backing an order that the Trump administration has to pay foreign aid organizations for work they already performed for the government.

Although Roberts wasn’t targeted, Barrett faced some scathing criticism from the right.

Jack Posobiec, a senior editor at Human Events, a conservative political news and analysis site, called Barrett “a warning against the dangers of Republican DEI.”

And Alyssa Farah Griffin, who served as a White House communications director during Trump’s first administration, said the attacks show that some of Trump’s supporters will look for any perceived disloyalty to declare someone a Republicans-in-name-only (RINO).

“I just didn’t think I would live to see the day that Amy Coney Barrett was declared a RINO by MAGA,” Griffin said. “This is just wild to me.”

They must follow the cult leader or be punished. We can only hope that the walls that separate and protect the different powers of government are not so easily breached to impeach or otherwise remove the ones targeted by the maga cult. The ones who, you know, actually upheld their oath to protect the Constitution. Heaven forbid they put the Constitution and the sanctity of our Republic ahead of their cult party leader.

Some dissension.

Marco Rubio was incensed. Here he was in the Cabinet Room of the White House, the secretary of state, seated beside the president and listening to a litany of attacks from the richest man in the world.

Seated diagonally opposite, across the elliptical mahogany table, Elon Musk was letting Mr. Rubio have it, accusing him of failing to slash his staff.

You have fired “nobody,” Mr. Musk told Mr. Rubio, then scornfully added that perhaps the only person he had fired was a staff member from his Department of Government Efficiency.

Mr. Musk was not being truthful, Mr. Rubio said. What about the more than 1,500 State Department officials who took early retirement in buyouts? Didn’t they count as layoffs? He asked, sarcastically, whether Mr. Musk wanted him to rehire all those people just so he could make a show of firing them again. Then he laid out his detailed plans for reorganizing the State Department.

Mr. Musk was unimpressed. He told Mr. Rubio he was “good on TV,” with the clear subtext being that he wasn’t good for much else. Throughout all of this, the president sat back in his chair, arms folded, as if he were watching a tennis match…..

……But if nothing else, the session laid bare the tensions within Mr. Trump’s team, and news of the sharp clashes spread quickly through senior ranks of cabinet agencies after it was over. This account is based on interviews with five people with knowledge of the events.

**** show

I heard today that trump plans to implement a 250% percent tariff on dairy from canada lol. What D bag.

I had never voted in an election of any kind pre 2016 but trump got me out to vote (against him obviously) that year. Then I voted again in 2020 and again in 2024.
I still have never voted in the mid term elections but I'm going to in the next ones.

Huh, I never knew trump ran for president in 2000 as a Democrat. Democrats weren't immoral and dumb enough to vote for him as the nominee though. I guess that's why he decided to be a Republican.
He knew where to find the dumb immoral people he needed.

Trump focused his campaign on achieving universal healthcare (I guess he was a socialist too) and his ideal running mate was Oprah Winfrey lol. (Talk about a DEI hire. A black woman with no experience lol)

Critics questioned the seriousness of Trump's campaign and speculated that it was a tactic to strengthen his brand and sell books. Trump defended his candidacy as a serious endeavor and proclaimed that he had a chance to win the election.

Trump officially ended his campaign on the February 14, 2000 airing of The Today Show on NBC. Although he believed he could still the presidential nomination, a poll matching Trump against likely Republican nominee George W. Bush and likely Democratic nominee Al Gore showed Trump with seven percent support.

Republicans need to remember the constitution and what they stand for. The sooner this guy is removed the better. Waiting until midterms may be too late.

Trump approval rating on 538 crossed over yesterday to greater disapproval average over multiple polls.

ABC/Disney shuttered 538 yesterday.

I have been noticing more people being more vocal in criticizing trump lately. Seems to be gaining momentum. Hearing more co workers criticizing him lately. Even ones who voted for him. Facebook friends who typically wouldn't post anti trump stuff have started to.
