How to get Gortat

With the Magic being forced to pay an insane amount for Reddick the first year (thanks Bulls), the Magic are should be a little more willing to deal Gortat for lesser talent. He fits in nicely with Harpring's TPE, and could ship Koufas or Fesenko (s&t) back to them so they aren't totally without a backup for Howard. This puts the Jazz near the luxrury tax so Matthews would walk and would be a little thin at SG, likely using Jeffers or signing a standout summer leaguer'.

From what i've heard Orlando's only willing to trade Gortat in a package to get a "star player". They know Gortat is a coveted big man and surely will get something good in return.

What is everyone's obsession with this guy?

Every time I've seen him he's a never ending foul defensively. He doesn't seem to have much of a post game or jump shot either. I just don't get why we obsess over these poor to average players so much.

Give me Fess for a fraction of the cost.

He projects well and seems to have a work ethic unlike the Marlboro Man.

I've been saying the same. just give Fes those minutes...

LOL, so he can continue to look ridiculous and foul out within the first quarter? Fes is not very smart.

That's not any different than what I've seen from Gortat. Gortat isn't a shotblocker, has a very limited offensive game, fouls everytime I watch him play, and is getting paid a lot more than Fess.
