Just watched Real Steel, I came in with essentially no expectations cause I thought it would be pretty bad....I really enjoyed it. You know, not much plot, but just a fun movie to watch. Much better than Transformers.

As someone who grew up as a huge comic book fan I'd give it a solid B. It really helps set up the Avengers and had great moments, but my high expectations were not quite met.

I watched American Reunion with my wife last Saturday. If you've been a fan of a movies(not all of the straight-to-dvd-spinoffs), it definitely had that nostalgia of the first one, and seemed to end on a good note. I don't think they will make any more in this storyline..unless they wait and do American Retirement Home or something. Which..if the actors agreed to it, could be very interesting.

I really enjoyed The Avengers last weekend. Any movie can be improved upon, but it met my high expectations and I never caught myself checking my watch.
