due to the weak-PG class, I wonder if a guy like Pierre Jackson declares. I have barely watched him play, but he seems like a tough guy... a steal in the second round?
Could be. I'd rather try Machado in the 2nd, but Pierre would be worth a shot as well.

I dont watch much college ball, (other than byu) but today while on break at work i watched some of the missouri game.
There is a player on thier team named Kim English who had 19 points and 6 rebounds with 10 minutes left in the game. I saw him hit a few 3's and seemed like he has a real pretty shot. He looks to be the size of a small forward (not sure what position he is) and seemed to hustle for rebounds and play good D.
Missouri is ranked #3 and he seems to be quite good. Anybody know anything about him? Why is no one talking about him? Is he just having a good game today, but normally isn't very good? PKM? Cyrone? Any info would be appreciated.
Ok, this is mainly for my own entertainment, but I'll throw this out there.... (BTW, I know this is too many rookies, but, what the hell...)
Here's a dream scenario for next year's draft:
First, the Jazz trade CJ, Bell, or Howard for a second-round draft pick.
Jazz select: Quincy Miller (for obvious reasons), Meyers Leonard (legit 7 footer), Scott Machado (PKM, you seem to be right about him), and John Jenkins (3-pt specialist)
This is also assuming the Jazz find a way to acquire Augustin or some other established PG.
The roster would look something like this:
Augustin/Watson/Machado
Burks/Hayward/Bell?/Jenkins
Hayward/Miller/Evans
Millsap/Kanter/Favors
Favors/Leonard
yup, no Al or Devin
EDIT TO ADD: I'm selecting Leonard without much research. His physical profile is intriguing for a backup C. That's all.
I would definitely trade any of CJ, Bell, or Howard for a 2nd round pick. Adding either Jenkins or his teammate (Jeffrey Taylor) would be an upgrade, for sure.
Yeah, Jenkins would be an immediate upgrade. I think.
You have any thoughts on Leonard? What other big men do you like? What sort of qualities do you think we need in another young big (considering what we already have)?
Electric with the ball in his hands, real nice court vision to go with nice size and athleticism for the position.
I understand his perimeter game needs work, and he needs to figure out how to reel it in a bit and not be out of control as often as he is - but he's got the tools!

It seems like there are a lot of 2nd round players that have a lot of potential this year...Pierre Jackson, Machado, John Jenkins, Jeff Taylor...exciting stuff.
Rivers is sick, whenever I watch him it's like you can just tell the dude is gonna be B-A double-D BADD in the NBA.
He could be TJ Ford, he could be something a bit better than that, or he could be Sebastian Telfair. No one knows yet. He's probably worth a later first-round pick to find out though.
