This is what I enjoy about the show. The moral questions. What would you do if... For those expecting a Romero zombie-fest, you're not going to find it with this show. If aspects of the graphic novel series are introduced, there will be some more major zombie attacks, but on the whole, it's about the survivors, the walking dead.

I found it very interesting that Lori is planting a seed to eliminate Shane.

That's the part that annoyed me, he would've just tried his normal tactful ways and maybe been able to keep Shane from being a bigger a hole but now with her manipulating him (for her own selfish reasons I feel) it's not going to help but make it worse. For now anyway.

I think it would be smart to kill Shane. The dude is obviously deranged about his relationship with Rick's family. He is always talking about keeping people safe, but having a neurotic guy around the farm isn't safe for anyone.

I bet at some point this season, Rick or Shane will try to indirectly kill the other one (like Shane did Otis). The person who is the victim will narrowly escape without the attacker knowing, come back to the farm, and get his revenge.

That is more realistic I guess I'm just always knee jerk optimist and think they were close friends once and can be that way again. Then again like you said if they (writers) take him down the more delusional side then can't do much about that.

bassically a horde of zombies come at rick and shane. rick ducks out picks up a dead walker and puts it over his body lying in garbage and a zombie above him. shane did not have that option 4 meters away frmo rick. with hordes of wlakers coming at shane. the look shane gave rick and vice versa said it all

Yeah, I saw that. That seemed more like not going out of his way to save Shane. I was thinking more along the lines of going out of his way to NOT save Shane (or vice-versa).

I expected something more. Like a dramatic split between the group. I can see T-Dog, Andrea, Daryl and that annoying girls mom siding with Shane and Lori (Carl), Hershel (and family), Dale and Glen siding with Rick.

It may come to that as Shane still gets away as the scene does not show him actually dying.

Also where do you get these sneak peaks from Dutch? All the website shows me is a stupid sneak peak of Lori and Glens woman talking about how to handle Glenns wussing out in the shoot out.

that particular one i saw on talking dead. which i obtained through grey areas(note i am not a pirate. if i watch more than 2 eps of a show i purchase it when it comes out on bluray or dvd).

it's like some sort of self imposed layaway plan.
anyhow haven't seen that one anywhere else

I have always been a man that handles my own problems instead of waiting for others to handle them. That way I know it is done right. This is why I am so conflicted on who I like better. Shane or Rick. Shane is a man of action and Rick is a man of consciense. Problem is that Shane is out there and Rick makes dumb decisions.

I doubt Shane will die that soon but for an apoclyptic end of the world show the charracter list has been remarkably stable lately. I want a few to die such as TDog as he gets no time and maybe two of Herschels daughters, Dale and that annoying woman (dead kids mom). Then give us some new people.

yeah thats what I miss in the tv series. almost all "main" characters died in the comics.
