I don't see how that would really change his decision. If he wins, he would probably just think that he has a chance to win 2 now. I think a top 5 promise would sway him more.
Thanks

I watch those sites. But UK is hearing 6 teams are currently taking someone else .. putting MKG at 7 or worse. From conversations I've had, though not a decision-maker, I think he's 6-8. I think he goes back. He wants to go back. I sense he hopes things point to going back. Don't underestimate his hard life, losses of father figures, and love for Calipari.
I see. Do you know who those teams are taking over him? Cause like I said, there's only four prospects I really see as being drafted ahead of him. Jones is soft; Sullinger lacks size AND athleticism; Lamb has lost his momentum; Beal's shot hasn't been dropping as expected...I'm just not seeing how there's more than 4 better choices than him.

It comes down to his broken shot. Do you really want to take a player who may never have a hope to be a consistently hit a 15'-23' shot in the top 5? I can see taking a guy like that 7-10, but top 5 seems high to me.

If he stays an extra year or 2 in college he will at worst prove he is a ****ty shooter and get drafted in the late lottery like Ronnie Brewer did. At best he makes dramatic improvements in his jumper and moves into the top 5.
Fair enough, I suppose. Who would YOU have in your top 5, then? Just curious.

We agree he has a broken shot. Your constant comparison to RBrewer, though, is embarrassing for you.
My top 5, no order, and no thought towards position.
Davis
Drummond
Robinson
Barnes
Miller

Damn good list. *shocked*
I may make NO change. You are damn smart!
Cy is right here but his computer broke. He asked me to answer for him .. here's his list;
1. Drummond
2. Marshall
3. Miller
4. Kabongo
5. Hopson
I guess I could see how MKG could slip into the 5th spot, because I think the top 4 is clearly Davis, Robinson, Barnes, Drummond. The 5th best player is kind of a crap shoot.

Exactly. Hence MKG's thought process.
That means he is highest the 5th pick, but could potentially slide pretty far down if teams decide to go after big men.
I could see Michael Jordan drafting MKG 3rd overall.
He's aware. He's legit 7 or 8 this draft and legit 3 or 4 next.
