So what would happen if it was discovered that a team FO gave direct orders to the coaches and players to tank?

I find it disgusting that 1/3 of NBA teams don't care about winning. Along with shady reffing and superstar players unwilling to play for all but a small handful of teams in elite markets it's making me question if I want to be a basketball fan.

Bring on contraction. A 10 team NBA will be super fun!

I could see some contraction but 10 teams? You can kiss the Jazz good bye. No way the NBA lets the bigger markets like LA, Boston and NY go.

Maybe cut 3 teams from each conference to drop everything down to 4 teams. So 24 teams down from 30.

But if you have more than 10 teams basketball players might be forced to play somewhere where the temp goes below 60f, which really isn't fair to them. And they may be forced to live off only their NBA salary because there will be no big sponsorships. Again, that's just not fair to them.

I'm just disgusted. Teams blatantly tanking. What kind of league is it if 1/3 of the teams not only don't have a chance to compete, but they don't even care about being competitive? I'm starting to not care if Utah has a team in such a league.

I say all that having not watched a game in well over a month. Sometimes I turn a game on or DVR it, but lose interest and start doign something else. The love really is dying.

That's hilarious, but GS really DID get the sweet side of that move. One of the smartest things that franchise has done in the last decade.
