Apparently he isnt playing in the Summer League because of Contract disputes.

If the Grizz dont sign him, how about the Jazz wit ha trade offer.

He would be great as he is a great shooter with the possibility a broader game to come, but he falls under a rookie contract so I don't imagine the dispute producing a trade or lasting that long. Or if he has has some issue with memphis because he doesn't like the team or city, he probably will have worse feelings about Utah.

I read from some Twitter, Chad Ford maybe, that Memphis refused to do the standard 120% of rookie scale contract.

I have no idea why they'd do that.

Frankly I'm surprised more teams don't do it. The rookies themselves have virtually no negotiating leverage.

No way the grizz dont sign them, they are just going about it in the dumbest way possible. They have his rights if he wants to play he will be a grizz this year.

and they only give players to lakers plus xavier henry aint proved anything yet..Wasnt impressed with him in college after all the hype i heard from him coming in..Not very big...Dime a dozen if u ask me

He is what 6'4 or 6'5 tops..
He'll likely be listed at 6'7'' (he measured out at 6'6.5'' in shoes pre-draft) in the NBA, which is plenty big for a 2 guard. You don't defend with the top of your head anyway, and that 8'9'' standing reach is more appropriate for a 3 (or even a small 4).

ya but wingspan is overrated by people..That is great size i never thought he was that big..We can probally both agree that this was a kid who should have stayed in college atkleast another year to show what he can do..Agree?

No, especially since there's a decent chance the 2011/12 NBA season will be canceled (and salaries in subsequent years will be slashed).

If there is a lockout I wonder if it will be of 1994 MLB epic proportions? If it is, it will hurt this game for years to come.

Well since you wann talk about wingspans how that big wingspan working for aaron affalo? Henry would have stayed and been the man and shown what he could do...But i guess its d league for the next couple of years for him

What? I only listed his wingspan and standing reach to show that he's far from undersized. Dude's a big 2.
