I read from some Twitter, Chad Ford maybe, that Memphis refused to do the standard 120% of rookie scale contract.
I have no idea why they'd do that.

eh? A 2 guard with a 6'11.25'' wingspan and 8'9'' standing reach is HUGE. I'd love Xavier, but it aint happening. Not very big
He'll likely be listed at 6'7'' (he measured out at 6'6.5'' in shoes pre-draft) in the NBA, which is plenty big for a 2 guard. You don't defend with the top of your head anyway, and that 8'9'' standing reach is more appropriate for a 3 (or even a small 4).He is what 6'4 or 6'5 tops..
No, especially since there's a decent chance the 2011/12 NBA season will be canceled (and salaries in subsequent years will be slashed).ya but wingspan is overrated by people..That is great size i never thought he was that big..We can probally both agree that this was a kid who should have stayed in college atkleast another year to show what he can do..Agree?

What? I only listed his wingspan and standing reach to show that he's far from undersized. Dude's a big 2.Well since you wann talk about wingspans how that big wingspan working for aaron affalo? Henry would have stayed and been the man and shown what he could do...But i guess its d league for the next couple of years for him
