Official Playoff Prediction: Round 1

Yeah, **** optimism!

If every fan has to be realistic about their team, what's the point?

I think, due to many obvious reasons, that the Spurs have a better chance to win. I cannot change what I think. I can type a bunch of empty words like "the Jazz in 4!", but what would that accomplish? You can't be arguing that I should say certain things regardless of whether I believe it or not! Maybe you're saying that my realism is bringing you down and that I should keep my opinion to myself? That may be fair, but it would make a "prediction" thread pretty lame, don't you think?

Code word. Get into it Siro. Believe it is ok! Just let it happen. Believe they can beat anyone anywhere.

I hope the Jazz win as much as anyone. And I believe it is possible. But this thread asked for predictions, so I predicted.

I think your internal 8 ball is broken. I am putting you back.

Lol at this thread! Perhaps SiroMar is not religious. :D

I'll go with Spurs in 6 and that's being optimistic. However, I also thought the Jazz would win 28 games this year. ;)

Believing does not always equal religion.

Let's be honest though. Kanter makes as many mistakes as good plays out there right now. And, I don't blame him one bit. He's a rookie and he's taking his lumps. He has shown a few signs of brilliance from time to time which is exciting for the future. But, seriously, why would any coach give hims significant minutes in the playoffs at this point?

i mean wont play kanter at all give him 5-8 minutes a game mostly in the first half so we have a rested jefferson in the 4th qtr.

only way i want to see major minutes for kanter(18+) is if by some divine miracle we get past spurs and somehow meet the fakers down the line

I would estimate that, in reality, at least the majority of the board agrees. I certainly do.

Maybe you're saying that my realism is bringing you down and that I should keep my opinion to myself?

Not at all.

I meant nothing more than it's okay to drink the Kool Aid. That's what fans do. If you want to be completely pragmatic about it, that's great. I have no problem with it. It would be a pretty bland discussion if everyone felt the same way.
