What's new

ESPN LOVES us now...

"TrueHoop Henry Abbott
RT @MovieMasterII: @TrueHoop Isn't it disgusting that the NBA Draft will reward Golden State and punish Utah Jazz?"

Reggie Miller is the most dreadfully boring and inane commentator in the game today.

....I'm tending to agree with you! Miller states the obvious, and then states the ridiculous! Last night he made reference to some strategy by the Jazz that he made up himself! The Jazz weren't doing anything different than they've been doing the past 15 years. Pack the middle and leave the 3 point shooters open!

Barkley loves the Jazz... he's been saying good things about us ever since he became an announcer. He says good things about us at almost every one of our nationally televised games...

Shaq on the other hand...

I find it amusing how people say how biased [enter national announcer] is against our team because they're so used to the incredible amount of bias [enter local announcer] has for the team.

All I know is that being an announcer is a damn hard job. Nobody likes you if you're a homer, robot, talk too much, talk too little, give too many anecdotes, don't give enough, etc etc etc.

All the local color guys are pretty crappy everywhere, this is not surprising. Even nationally there are only a couple that are any good.

Haha, I think you nailed it.

I laughed when Reggie said that Michael Redd was the best shooter on either team last night, while statistically Nash could very well go down as the greatest shooter in the history of the league.

He also said he sees Corbin shortening the rotation for the playoffs and sees Bell and Howard getting most of the playing time rather than Burks and others as if Burks is only playing right now out of charity. Dude's a moron and needs to do his homework.

Obviously you've never heard Mike Tirico call a game. No matter the sport, that guy is always riding the jack of the major-market, star-laden team.
