What's new

Game 3 Round 1 San Antonio Spurs VS Utah Jazz, Sat. May 5th @ 8pm MT --Official Game Thread--

All I want to say is that I think it's excruciatingly clear the direction that this team needs to move in: COMMIT to your youth. The veterans don't know what they're doing when it gets tough, and I think they've imparted all of their wisdom worth learning by now.

Yep. If we could somehow dump Bell and put this squad together for next year, I'd love them, win or lose.

Marshall-Tinsley-Watson
Hayward-Burks
Carroll-Crowder
Millsap-Evans
Favors-Kanter

I'd then love one more big and a lights out shooter to bring it to 13.

We'd still have two vets in Tinsley and Watson for leadership, pick up a warrior-type in Crowder which we sorely need (heard comparisons to Artest in that you don't want to **** with him), and our youth would have a full summer and training camp to improve.

I really hope Carroll isn't our starting SF next year.

Come again? The Spurs ARE an amazing team. Weird you would try and say they are not.
In fact I expect them to be exposed at some point this season. A good coach would be able to figure out how to do that. I'm not saying they will be blown away but in their losses it will be clearly seen what they lack as a team.

There is no joy in Mudville.

The guys showed a good amount of heart and talent in the loss. They have much upside. Hopefully they get the next win and extend the learning experience.
