AK has been the consummate team player for his Russian teams -- MVP in the Euroleague this past year and Defensive Player of the Year. His style of play lends itself to being a complementary player, not the go-to man (he doesn't have the offensive abilities for this). But his value, even during his off-years, was reflected in the stats that showed how much better the Jazz were when he was on the floor, and he often came through in the clutch in games when he was not playing well.
Yet people pick on emotional issues, like the time he cried on TV or complained about lack of touches, or his disputes with Jerry. He may not be the player we had hoped for, but he still is a good player who puts the team first, and I think the hate on this board for him is just plain stupid. When healthy he was the Jazz's MVP and second only to DWill after DWill emerged. The one issue of concern to me would be that he has become injury prone.
