Following potential 2012 draftees

Since the Cavaliers are getting 3 UK players, you will become a Cavs fan out of your love for those UK players. Therefore you would like to join a Cavs message board. Cavsfans might be a message board.

Oh, I gotcha. No, I can barely stand you guys, I can't imagine doing this x2.

anybody actually think CLE wants to draft 4 more rookies? I'm betting two of those are available for the right pieces, even if that means swapping these picks for picks in the future.

I think this is why they asked to trade their 1st first-rounder and their 1st second-rounder for Favors. Not because it works for us, but because they know they should package a couple picks for a proven future.

Oh, that's right, I forgot about that abortion of an offer. But, yes, this further proves my suspicion that at least two picks can be had.

Raja Bell for whatever their last pick is. Do it!

I hate Portland.

Me too, but I'm betting they keep draft night entertaining this year. Two lottery picks, two early 2nd round picks a bunch of tradeable players a new coach, and still no GM--This will be fun to watch. They will fill the gap left by Minny playing it safe.

Add Cleveland to that list.

So let's say the Jazz end up with the GS pick because fate dealt them a deserved cruel hand and the Jazz land #8. And on top of that, deal Jefferson to NOH for #10, what can you turn those two picks into?

2 very good players at 8 and 10 that you don't need to trade up for because in this draft, 3-14 is a crapshoot of solid players.

The question at that point (to me at least) is do the Jazz want 7 players in their 3rd year or less on the roster? If not how many do they want? 5? 6? That opens the door to trade 1-2 of the picks in addition to signing/letting go Evans.

I'm gonna go ahead and go all in on Orlando Johnson from UCSB. I love the way he plays and he's got a freakish wingspan, along with very good athleticism. He's gonna be a player.

Lillard and trade the other for a future unprotected first as I don't like anyone where the second one will be. Or try to trade both to move up and get MKG. Or Lillard and trade back a bunch (Miller, Crowder, etc.) as well as pick up a future protected 1st in doing so.

IMO, the only thing better than 8 and 10 is 1.

I'm expecting Rivers' stock to rise. If the jazz are interested and picking at 10, then I don't think that'd be reaching.

Damn, the thought of getting Lillard and Rivers seem more than ideal at the moment.
