Kanter isn't ready to play the 5?

As if Jefferson is? He's one of our worst defenders and is one of the worst offensive players in the league.

I'd much rather watch Kanter start and struggle this next year and improve than watch Al Jefferson continue to be that "Black Hole" that we've seen for 2 years.

Well see this is what worries me about Kanter.....he might be just as big a black hole as Jefferson.
.....I haven't seen Kanter pass out of the post too much, though that might be because he doesn't demand double teams yet.

Defensively, I'd rather have Kanter by far though.
 
Or just trade Big sAl for who gives a **** and start Favors and Millsap with Kanter (and Tomic) off the bench.

Kanter will learn to pass when he doesn't have to try and prove that he belongs - fruitlessly, regardless of his production - and when he can get enough time to get a feel for his teammates and the system. Why? He's not stupid, is already better at getting to the line, better in transition, and better (smarter) defensively than Slow Al.

This could mean that GS gets someone that they like at the #7. I hope that doesn't mess anything up.

I wouldn't go that far. To me there is a good chance that a playoff team could get better with some of these guys dropping and teams taking a chance on them. That is what scares me.

Right? Teams lost games on purpose in order to get in on this draft.

Losing on purpose is bad bad mojo.
