Following potential 2013 draftees

So here's a question: what would you be willing to give up to trade up in next year's draft to acquire Shabazz? At this stage, do you think it would be worth giving up say, Kanter + Burks + GSW pick?

Tough call. My thoughts of 'Bazz;

Pros - Offensive machine, relentless competitor, high motor, length.

Cons - Never shown to play, yet, within a team concept .. showing a bit more than average (as studs go) selfishness. How will he do as a team? Also, I have confidence in his outside shot, but at THIS moment it's a bit suspect.

Only point is his ability is off the charts, but he needs to show an understanding of playing within an offense .. prior to crowning him 'next.'

Good take.

Even if he is pretty selfish right now, it's always nice to see talented players with a killer instinct, unlike Drummond/PJ3 etc.

If Bazz was the next Kobe/Jordan/James then I would say we are stupid not to do that.

Only two problems with that.

If he is that type of a player hen no one would want to miss out on that especially Charlotte who drafted Kobe then traded him.

What if he turns out to be a bust? What if, like PKM was mentioning, he is too selfish if a player? What if he never learns to really play in a team system?

At this point I tink and talk about throw assets, and good assets at that, in order to draft Bazz is extremely premature. Of course, we are talking about the 2013 draft and it is the 4th of July 2012.

Of course it's premature. Just trying to generate some talk around here. Plus, it's fun to think about.

FWIW - Bobby Hurley has repeatedly said that Kyle Anderson is the best player to hit the hardwood at St. A's.

That's an extraordinary statement.
