Regarding recent rumors about Jimmer returning to Utah, Kevin O'Connor told the Deseret News "The price to land Jimmer at this stage was just too high." When asked if they had interest, "Oh absolutely," O'Connor responded, "we crunched the numbers and saw this as a huge win. Unfortunately we're not able to get Jimmer now but we are currently working on picking up a couple BYU products. Well, one of them is really more of just a random fan than a product, but I don't want to split hairs."

After both independently converting to Mormonism, Carlos and Cece Boozer retied the knot this summer by getting sealed for time and all eternity in the Chicago Temple. "It's been such a great experience," Boozer said. "I know that the fans have fallen out of love with [Jefferson] and would love to return to Utah to offer myself up as a type of blood atonement," he commented when asked about his future. "I'm eager to get back to Salt Lake and defend not only the faith, but also the paint!"

Earlier this week CJ Miles tweeted that he had signed an offer sheet with another franchise. "At this moment I'm not able to disclose who, but it's a pretty prominent franchise," he said. "I feel like it's a good situation. I'll have a strong supporting cast that I really think complement my strengths," Miles stated.

Former Jazzman Andrei Kirilenko has opted out of his contract with CSKA Moskow, but it's not the hardwood of Brooklyn that he'll be chasing. Andrei has committed to spending the rest of this summer, and longer, if necessary, living in the wilderness of Siberia befriending Gorons, playing ocarinas, saving princesses and slaying dragons.

Well done except it was distasteful having Sandusky wearing the jazz logo. It ruined the joke for me. I really wanted to neg you for it, but didn't.

There's just no reason to have him in that picture.

Stop being a baby.

Everything can be made fun of as long as it is funny and that was fairly funny.

Child abuse is nothing to joke about. I said in my post it was well done, but once I saw his face it distracted me from the rest of the post. I love being a jazz fan and take offense to child molester being associated with a joke. Something that is offensive to me is not a joke.

There's nothing funny in my eyes about anything associated with that man! You can call me a baby all you want, but my opinion won't change.

That's our own Jon Colton.

With an "h", please. Jon Colton was (or maybe still is) an active poster on other jazz-related boards, but we are not the same. I haven't really interacted with him, but heard that he could be pretty vituperative.
