Contrary to some other professions, Jumping ability does have an effect on a basketball player's performance.
There is two major differences. Scola is great pick and roll and pick and pop player. Kanter is one of the worst in that regard I have ever seen. He would need to do a lot to master that aspect of the game.
Sorry, misread that as "Kanter- Between the Legs Drunk."
Kanter can get along just fine without any jumping ability.
Why do you think he uses his strength so much in the first place?
Some of the greatest big men of all-time could barely jump.
Does anyone remember Patrick Ewing?
I've never posted a video before, but since you offered rep I'll try. Everyone will probably blast me for doing it wrong.

He's like 3 inches off the ground.
On the plus side that means he's tall.
Scola has better skillz,Kanter is Luis Scola.
this year vets have not been invited to the NT, except a PG and C Semih Erden, whom Kanter would have started along with.^^^^
How much PT was he going to get with the Turkish NT? We know it's generally based on experience and you have to "pay your dues." I'm guessing he'd get less court time than he did behind Jefferson last season. I know this is like unto treason in Turkey, but he's much better off practicing his post moves and working out in the US than riding the pine in Turkey.
Kanter should model his game after Marc Gasol and Nikola Pekovic, both extremely useful NBA starters. Kanter has a better physical profile than either of those guys as well IMO (needs to figure out how to use his seemingly soft hands to develop Pek's baby hook and Gasol's mid-range game).
What better physical profile Kanter has compared to Pekovic? Pekovic is stronger and bigger, they both can't jump, what is it? Is he faster? better standing reach? wingspan? Just curious what you mean?
Funny.
When we first drafted Enes we got inundated with Turkish posters that were total homers. Then he skips out on the Turkish nat'l team and we get the band of Turkish Enes haters.
T'Wolves homer.
