Trust me, the only thing Obama supporters are worried about is voter suppression. And even with a fair amount of voter suppression, Obama is still probably going to win by a decent margin.
Yup, it's Obama supporters that need to worry.

There is a huge difference between not gettign an ID and being incapable. Only people I think would be "incapable" are those whith mental problems. For those who cannot becasue of things like being an elderly individual with no BC exceptions should be made in the rules to easily and efficiently provide them with one free of cost to them.
His record in business is a huge part of why I'm not voting for him (outsourcing jobs, buying up companies only to saddle them with debt then pay himself a huge dividend and lay everyone off, etc). But I am also not voting for him because I have no idea who he really is. He has flip flopped on every major issue.

If someone can't or won't get a damn I.D. then they are disqualified from voting in my book. TS.

Like I've never voted for a republican, lol. The most recent republican I voted for was Huntsman for governor. Get out of the bubble, man.********! You're not voting for Romney because he's Republican. I feel safe in saying that it doesn't matter who the GOP nominated you'd still be voting for Obama.
Where do you draw the line on that? In order to get your constitutional rights, you have to jump through a bunch of hoops?
Voting isn't a privilege that can be taken away (like driving). Voting is a constitutional right. You start putting restrictions on rights, and the floodgates will open. Maybe not immediately, but in like 20 years, who knows what all of the subtle requirements will add up to be. ID, plus never late on taxes, plus own property, plus have contributed X amount of money to a political party, have served in the military, etc.
Or those that live 100 miles from the nearest DMV, don't have a car, and haven't seen their birth certificate in 30 years.

There's already restrictions on voting. Has been for years but no flood gates have opened restricting voting rights further. You're being a little over dramatic.
Tell that to the millions of Americans who won't be allowed to vote in this election.
They don't care. They're dead.
And on the same train of thought... If there are no hoops to jump through, paperwork to fill out, no need to create a problem where one doesn't exist. There is nothing racially intended by my statements, but give me a break ... Sometimes things are hard in life. If there are hoops to jump through, paperwork to be filled out .. Do it.
I am sympathetic to the extreme conditions to what I've said, but I don't believe there is a significant demographic that can't vote if they care enough and do the work. If too lazy, they're not qualified. Sorry if that pisses anybody off.
Tell that to all the people in Florida who got removed from the pool of eligible voters because they were supposedly dead.
No. But I'm arguing that not all of the supposedly "dead" people who are voting are actually dead. And this purge has motives other than simply removing the people who are really dead.So are you arguing that when people die their names should be left on the voting rolls just in case they didn't really die?
sounds like PKM is arguing for wasteful needless government spending. holla!
