What's new

Paul Ryan thinks you're a ****ing retard

I know both sides tell lies, and make ridiculous promises.

I remember Obama promising to close guantanamo. What the hell happened there?

well, that's interesting.

But, I'm sure we can make a distinction here: there is a difference between promising to do something and then not doing it and what Ryan did. No?

Where did I say THE ENTIRE RIGHT is full of lies and deceit? Please link.

I thought I was talking about the Ryan speech. hmmmmmm.....

Despite your flainings to the contrary I trolled you off that point back around post 10. lol

Wait a second. I stated, plainly, that I was calling out Ryan while the speech was going live (how is that not responding to the OP?).

Further, I in no way stated that I am okay or accept that all politicians lie .. I simply stated my opinion that they do.

Please stop being intellectually dishonest, you're too smart to have to do that.

You edited that in afterwards. Can you blame me for not seeing it?

Honestly? I think he simply got the full story (he wouldnt have it all as a senator) and realised that maybe there is a reason for keeping it open.

Yes there is a difference between an absurd promise and lying to your face.

I think we need to admit our failures. Whatever side you are on you need to see the truth.
I didn't see his speech, but reading the reviews of it does make it seem to stoop to a new low. That has been my point about
the Republican movement over the last few years. It's been extremely hell bent on ruining Obama over actually improving the country. You have congressmen on record saying
it is their job to make sure Obama doesn't get re-elected if anything else. The right is going way too far to the right, and that is the true story of this election to me.

It probably was just another case of saying what we wanted to hear. He could have said I believe in theory it should be closed, and if it's possible will
look into doing that. That's just not as sexy as "It will close day 1 of my presidency" or something like that.

thank you.

/thread.

How come post 39 wasn't /thread? That is when I addressed your actual point about the bold faced lies Ryan told in his speech. You remember that point right? It was the one you didn't get trolled off of.

Acknowledging the difference between a lie and an absurd promise was intorduced 30 some odd posts later by Revo.

Possibly.

I think in general the Republican party thinks we are idiots. They dumb everything down. I do see the point of tObama needing to connec better(i think hes done a poor job selling some key issues), but aren't you happy he's not dumbing it down to level of some politicians? I for one am happy he's smarter than I am. Raise the bar.

That you forgot your original point or that you have failed to point out similar faults in the Dems.

On a honest note. Yes Ryan lied and he did so without worry and directly to the American people. I simply needed a target for some distraction and your atempt to bait trolls went off with neon lights.
