Official Utah Utes Football 2012 Thread

I'm a Utah fan, and I would've punched that drunk douchebag.

Did he do more than that or something? Because while I think the video is somewhat humorous, it doesn't seem like much. I was just browsing a BYU board and that seems to be all they are talking about. Personally, I'm all for bitter rivarlies as long it's not to the point where people feel like they need to swing on everybody that is wearing the opposite gear or whatever.

To my way of thinking, this guy embodies the "classless" stereotype.

There is a big difference between being an excited fan (most of the field rushers) and an obnoxious dick (taunting the opposing coach when the game is done). Heckling the other team during the game is different. Get into their heads. But at the time this occurred, the statement had already been made. There's no gamesmanship in it. You're just being an *******. I don't condone being an ******* just for the sake of being an *******. Have a purpose.

That guy was a real tough SOB. Did you see how he walked away from Bronco rather than run?

Yeah... totally boss. He was like...

I would have done more than punch him. I would have kicked him in the balls and made him eat a printed copy of the letter Dr. Chris Hill sent out to everyone before the game. Then maybe he won't forget it next time.

Of course just like everything else. A few dumb asses have to ruin it for the rest of us.

Holy **** You guys are hilarious...

"Totally indefensible disgusting display. My heart goes out to Roscoe Mendenhall and his family during this tough time."

It was the end of one of the craziest most ridiculous games ever in a heated rivalry. A drunk kid walked up to Roscoe and said "wats canu say?"

Roscoe, turns around and the kid went, "Oh ****, he's a real person. Not just some hologram figure."

It was nothing. Props to Duck Rodgers for being the only person in here not blowing this thing up.

So... Moving on. Anybody going to the Arizona State game? I'm thinking about it.

Plus looking ahead at future home schedules... Can you believe 2014 and 2015???

2014: USC, Oregon, Stanford, Arizona +2 TBD

2015: Arizona State, UCLA, Oregon State, Colorado, Michigan, and either Cal or Washington +1 possible FCS school (that would make 7 home games, yes)

Holy wowzers. It's a great time to be a season ticket holder. I am really digging this PAC-12 thing.

First rule of wearing suspenders: If you wear suspenders, you should never try to fight anybody. Ever. The drunken Ute fan was obviously clueless. Doesn't he realize that Bronco surfs, rides a Harley, and has a brother who is a martial arts master?

If the ball is blocked and does not cross the line of scrimmage, it can be advanced by the kicking team. So basically it should not have been blown dead as you think... but the refs did get it right. The fans did enter the field in a live ball situation. I actually think the refs did a really good job, especially with all that was going on in this game.

I saw the alligator roll, and it was pretty cheap. Players that do that should be ejected. I did not see multiple issues with the same player, but I did see cheap stuff by both teams. It was not a one way street, but whoever did that leg twist stood out as a punk. You do not intentionally try to hurt people, that's messed up.
# 9 did multiple things that did not get called. He used York's back and neck to push him in the ground when he tried to get up. York came up injured after it and was getting up before #9 got to him. He also made a tackle on a Punt return and then kicked/stepped into the guy while he was trying to get up, He also got personal foul on another play that I did not see, the 1st 2 things I mentioned did not get a flag. On the alligator role play, #9 was in the area but from my spot in the stands it was unclear whether it was him or not, I kind of assumed because I was hoping BYU did not really have 2 POS's like that on their team. There were obviously a lot of dirty play both ways though.
